Hotel Bintang 4 di Gangwon, Korea Selatan

Ini adalah perjalanan keluarga ke Gangwon-do, dan harganya sangat bagus. Untuk lima orang, harganya di bawah 100.000 won, yang cukup terjangkau. Kami tiba terlambat, jadi kami harus berkeliling sebentar untuk mencari tempat parkir. Stafnya ramah. Kamar dilengkapi dengan sampo, sabun mandi, pasta gigi, sikat gigi, dan handuk mandi sekali pakai, yang sangat bagus. Pemanas ruangan cukup hangat. Ada mesin cuci built-in, tetapi baunya tidak sedap, jadi kami menutupnya. Saya pasti akan menginap di sini lagi.

Apartemen yang kami pesan cukup besar, dengan dua tempat tidur dan satu lantai bertingkat. Dengan pemanas lantai, kami tidak perlu khawatir dengan lantai dingin yang tidur di atasnya. Kamar ini memiliki lemari es, microwave, panci dan wajan, sumpit, dan cairan pencuci piring. Anda bisa membeli sesuatu di supermarket di lantai bawah dan memasaknya sendiri, yang jauh lebih murah daripada makan di restoran. Walaupun kamarnya tidak terlalu mewah, namun cukup bersih. Wow! It felt like time travel back to the last century in the UK, the moment you step into the hotel lobby, which is full of nostalgic British decorations. The restaurant, especially, is like a royal family gallery with photos of Queen Elizabeth, Princess Diana, Prince Charles, Prince William, and other royals covering the walls. Each floor features a unique theme dedicated to various public figures, including presidents, diplomats, sports stars, movie stars, singers, and actors. The hallways are decorated with photos and memorabilia, making every walk a discovery. The location is very close to the entrance of Seorak Mountain National Park, within a 7-10 minute walk. My double bedroom is lovely with a nice view of greenery. The only downside and a major issue to me is that no AC at night, which is not mentioned in the hotel’s description. The staff explained that the AC is centrally controlled and is turned off at night because they assume it’s cool enough. They can only give me a fan. I had both dinner and buffet breakfast at the hotel, and they were all good, and all the staff at the front desk and in the restaurant were very nice and friendly as well.

신년이 아니어도 해마다 혼자 혹은 지인과 일출을 보기 위해 방문하는 곳. 혼자 갈 때는 매우 안 좋은 방(지난 번엔 침구가 불결한지 벌레 물린 지국과 두드러기 같은 증상을 며칠간 경험)을 주던 경험이 있어 이번에도 그럴까 염려되었지만 그새 리모델링을 했는지 깔끔해졌다. 비록 요청한 엘리베이터 가까운 방도 아니고 예시된 뷰인 포레스트가 아니라 쓰레기 하치장 뷰지만 일단은 리모델링 한 것에 점수를 주고싶다. 예전에 업장에 화재도 나고 그랬던 거 같은데 업주께서 그간 노력을 많이 하신 듯하다. 고생 많으셨어요.
