The hotel is nestled in a quiet area, away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy area. We stayed 3 nights in a room facing the lake with a magnificent view of Fuji-san. A van provides shuttle service to and from Kawaguchiko station. The restaurant is not operational hence we either ate outside or bought food back from Lawson/7-11. Hotel staff were friendly and attentive, and there were Mandarin-speaking staff. We miss it very much even though we are now in Hoshino Amoriya, which speaks a lot about the Kumonoue Fuji!

A wonderful way to start my first trip to Japan, the location is right on Lake Kawaguchi and just behind is the Mt Fuji Panoramic Ropeway. The staff were really helpful and friendly, would definitely stay again if I ever get the chance.

Great location for a Fuji view + nearby cafe The Park was a phenomenal experience. Definitely enjoyed the next door combini aswell. However do not like the group requirement to eat at the restaurant and lack of microwave in the rooms. Still highly recommend.

Went with my parents. Check in was relatively straight forward, as was check out. The hotel was quite spacious, the room was to be expected. Relatively basic but clean. Did not eat there. They were able to call us a taxi when needed. We enjoyed the onsen as it had different pools, though not sure about how much of it was “onsen water”.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Fuji Gran Villa! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring every detail of our stay was perfect. The villa itself was stunning—beautifully designed, immaculately clean, and offering breathtaking views of Mount Fuji that felt like a dream. The amenities were top-notch, from the cozy beds to the luxurious private onsen. Every corner of the villa exuded comfort and tranquility, making it the perfect retreat after a day of exploring the surrounding area. The location was also ideal, with easy access to local attractions and serene surroundings that provided a peaceful escape from the city. What truly set Fuji Gran Villa apart was the thoughtful touches—the welcome snacks, personalized recommendations, and the staff's genuine care for their guests. It’s clear that they go above and beyond to create an unforgettable experience. I would highly recommend Fuji Gran Villa to anyone looking for a luxurious and serene getaway near Mount Fuji. I can’t wait to return!

For any Yuru Camp anime fans, if you also are interested in an Onsen experience this is the perfect place. The facilities and staff are amazing! I couldn't believe the size of my room, especially after coming from a business hotel in Tokyo. I thought Deluxe Twin was just the ”deluxe” version of a standard single twin size bed room instead of two twin beds but there are no complaints. Given it's more remote location I was expecting zero English but I was so surprised at how well some of the staff spoke English and had print outs for English speakers. I have to shout out two staff members, Nozomi and Joon Bae's english combined with my limited and grammatically atrocious Japanese they went above and beyond making me understand how everything worked as well as assisting me with my ventures outside of the onsen. They have two e-bikes available for rent which I rode to the next station on the minobu line so I could visit the school that was used in the anime as well as get a taxi to take me to Lake Shibere, from episodes 6 and 7 of season one. It was my first time in Japan, being the only foreigner at the hotel for the two full days, I only visited the baths once however the facilities are amazing and I plan on going back to use the Onsen more.

Hotel Regina Kawaguchiko exceeded all expectations. The stunning views of Mount Fuji and the cozy, well-maintained rooms were perfect. What truly stood out was the outstanding service from the Chinese-speaking receptionist—his warmth and attention to detail made our trip extra special. A memorable and exceptional stay!

Very Good value for money! With welcome drinks (juice & house wines) & snacks. Fusion fine dining dinner mixed with Japanese & western style, decent presentation & taste good. Cozy room setting with high quality drinks ware. Due to bad weather, we didn’t use the outdoor bath tub but we believe that it should have the FJ Mountain view. The 5 different hot-spring private rooms are special, no reservation is required & we tried the hot stone chair & felt good! The hot-spring section also provides to ice lolly & drinks. Buffet as the Morning breakfast with variety of foods but only serve till to 9:15am. Hotel pack up service with several time slots & operated on time.

All staffs are very welcoming and friendly. The whole experience is very nice and smooth. Delicious dinner and breakfast with a variety of Japanese dishes. The osen view in the morning is generous, facing the Mount Fuji. Recommended!

It has all the facilities and is very suitable for a family visit. The host was very polite and introduced us to the room. He also prepared an information book that introduced nearby attractions and restaurants, which was very useful. There are several cats in the park, and the owner enthusiastically introduced them and attached pictures of the cats in the park. The location is a bit remote. If you drive by yourself, it won't be a big problem. There is free parking space.
