The hotel is located on the cliff and the coast, with a quiet environment. The sea view room faces Mount Vesuvius, which is refreshing! The lights of the bay in the distance at night are even more romantic!
We spent several days in this hotel. We liked the location of the hotel on the first line, across the road from the beach. Breakfast is good, on the terrace with a beautiful view, also on the 5th floor there is a swimming pool, sun loungers and umbrellas from the sun. The staff is friendly. We will be happy to return.
The location is opposite the pier. It takes less than ten minutes to walk into the city, the room is very clean, the floor is beautiful, and the sea view is even better! Breakfast is delicious too! The counter staff is also very kind! I will definitely choose to live here next time.
The hotel is located about 20 minutes by bus from Amalfi Port, and only a 10-minute walk from the bus stop (which lowers the score a little), but
the view from the balcony over the valley to the sea and the night view are amazing, making it the best hotel I've ever stayed at!
The church near the bus stop has a very nice atmosphere with its modest bells chiming the time every 15 minutes.
The staff are friendly and have a homely atmosphere.
I would love to stay at this hotel for even 2 weeks.
There is also a small supermarket and a bar, so it's convenient.
You can also walk to the very popular Villa Rufolo.
However, it is still far from the town, and when I asked about the bus schedule, I was given incorrect information, so I had to wait for about an hour in the light rain,
which was disappointing and lowered the score.
A very good hotel with amazing customer service.
Pros:
1. They give you a free shuttle service that you can book in advance to and from Amalfi city centre. You can book it from your own phone when you are out on some trip and anytime with ease.
2. People at the reception are very nice and helpful. They even upgraded my room for no extra charges.
3. The restaurant serves amazing food.
4. Views from the hotel, cleanliness and the overall ambience deserves Five star!
Cons:
1. Location is bit far from city centre and if you are travelling in peak season even with the free shuttle, delays might irritate you.
2. Breakfast buffet has less options especially for vegetarians. I expected atleast some warm food options like a toasted bread or crepes.
Recommend to book it 100%.
Novotel hotel chain is stable. Suitable for self-driving tours. On the edge of the main road, it may be inconvenient to not drive by car, and it is several kilometers away from the central area of the city.
Very good hotel, right in the center of amifl, with panoramic sea view. There are bus stops when you go out, and you can reach all the small towns you go to. The maintenance of the hotel is okay, and the price/performance ratio is not too high. Traveling is very convenient. The breakfast is mediocre and not rich enough.
Beautiful cozy hotel, close to the railway station. In the room there are 2 bottles of water as a gift, a mini-bar, slippers, many soft towels. There is enough space for one person. Despite the small area of the room, everything is comfortable, thought out, compact. But there is no kettle. Breakfast is a la carte. In the hotel garden there is a small pool, sun loungers, a towel for the pool - all without extra charge.
Very nice place and people,
Very good breakfast,
A little bit far away from centre, but it's a good choise. You have R5 bus from Argenta Hotel to
Central station.
Located under Mount Vesuvius, it is very convenient to drive to Naples and Pompeii. It was a surprise for this trip! The landlord’s family really makes passengers feel at home, with all kinds of careful care, you can get many good suggestions you want. The simple exterior of the country villa hides a tasteful interior decoration. The facilities in the room are also very comfortable, and the hot water response is particularly fast. I like the rich breakfast every day. It is cooked by the landlord’s mother. The fruit comes from the landlord’s orchard. I especially love sweet figs! Originally planned to live for one day, the family proposed to stay for another night after staying! So we stayed for two nights!

GGuest UserWe spent several days in this hotel. We liked the location of the hotel on the first line, across the road from the beach. DDjohCLocation very close to Napoli Centrale train station .. while the neighborhood can be intimidating for first timer visiting Napoli… it’s pretty safe during my 4 day stays.
Good as base if you exploring Napoli or doing day trips to Sorrento; Pompeii via the train or taking ferry to Capri; Amalfi coast via buses nearby to ferry port.
Clean rooms and generally helpful front desk staff.
AAngelaHotel itself is pretty standard as what you would expect from any big chain hotels, but service was definitely not up to par. We were told there would be valet service - there was none. The bus boys just told us to park ourselves. FINE. Then after I've checked in I asked if the luggage will be sent up to our room - reception then asked if I got a luggage ticket to which I told him we weren't given anything. The bus boys just stood around the entrance. He said they would be sent up shortly but given how they were just standing around we just took our luggage ourselves - mind you I am 6 months pregnant and obviously so but they did not offer any help. Once we got to our room the air conditioning was not working - we kept dialing it down but there was no air. Amazing to find out the AC wasn't working for the price we paid. The room is stuffy and even the hallway was cooler. Also during our stay there was conference - we were given a room on the same floor as conference participants and as expected they were loud and rowdy at night. We could hear them talking in the hallway at night when we called reception they said there was nothing they can do. So very helpful. Upon check out, the same bus boy stood around while watching a pregnant lady wheel 4 pieces of luggage out. I really just wonder what they do other than standing around all day hanging in the shade. Service is terrible here and I've had better service at small boutique or family run hotels than here. The only upside to this stay was that the rooms are spacious and clean and that's about it.
放放浪旅First of all, it's not a hostel, but a hotel in front of the station, and the price is exceptional. Although it was close to the central station, the cobblestone pavement in Naples was so rough that it felt far away (lol). The room was extremely small. I was actually impressed that such a small hotel existed. For some reason, Google Maps pointed me to the back of the hotel, and I was only able to get there after being guided by a local, so I'd better be careful. There's no elevator, so it might be difficult for people with big luggage. The only amenities are shampoo. Also, while I was sleeping, I was bitten by a strange insect in 8 places (I don't think it was a tick since there were no blood-sucking marks...), and on top of that, I got a lot of bites on my right hand, and my right hand was swollen all over 😂 Even though I didn't even scratch it. Isn't it dangerous that the place where you were bitten becomes swollen?
However, all the employees were kind! The free breakfast was also delicious!
GGuest UserI would think with the pictures showing a pool and daybeds these would be free but when we got there they told us they are 15euro each day to use even though we are hotel guests. The reason we chose a hotel with a pool rather than paying for 1 at the beach. Very disappointed.
The showers are very small we aren’t big people and found it hard showering.
Balcony was good as could rinse clothes and dry outside but just placed over the chairs.
No kettle in the room but can get free coffee with breakfast. Breakfast was included which was great.
Scrambled eggs, ham, cheese, danishes, juice and coffee.
Location was great coming off the ferry as right at the port with luggage.
If going to town it’s a big stair case up to the top or you can walk along the beach to the lift down the road which is 2 euro to use.
The bar upstairs has amazing sunsets, lovely watching the sun go down and they have a DJ playing lovely slow singing music which all generations could enjoy. The drinks are slightly priced at the bar though.
The restaurant at bottom of hotel was great. 7 euro Margherita pizza and you get 10% off being a hotel guest.
I would probably next time stay in town as closer to everything but I like walking and hiking for exercise so the big staircase worked for me but wouldn’t for lots of people. I think the hotel may of said they have free taxi to town but not 100 % sure.
OoliviachenzwWe stayed 3 nights at Santa Fortunata Village in Dodome Tent No. 9 and had a pleasant experience overall. The village is located a bit outside of Sorrento town, but since we were driving, the distance wasn’t an issue. For those not driving, they do offer a buggy service, which is convenient.
Our tent didn’t have the best view, but we were still able to catch beautiful sunrises and sunsets. It was quiet and peaceful throughout our stay, with no disturbances from other campers. The bed was comfortable, and the tent included a plug point and two USB ports. However, there were no built-in lights, so we recommend bringing your own portable USB light.
There were ants on the ground, but it wasn’t a major problem. The parking lot was spacious, and the shared bathrooms and toilets were a short walk away. Showers had hot water, and there were plenty of basins and mirrors available. The provided hair dryer was quite weak, so it’s better to bring your own if needed.
The village also has mini marts and a restaurant. We had dinner at the restaurant once—it was a bit pricey, but the atmosphere was elegant and enjoyable. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. They offer excursions as well, though we had already planned our own itinerary.
All in all, it was a comfortable and quiet glamping experience. We'd definitely consider coming back!
GGuest UserI had a short overnight stay so the location is ideal about 400m walking from the main train station. Although a good location it is not a good area at night, a lot of homeless people but there are also some nice restaurants on Garabaldi Square and good coffee shops nearby for pastries and coffee for breakfast. The Hotel reception is on the 2nd floor of the building, big staircase and as others say no lift. Not good for older people or if you have big luggage to carry. The Checkin was fine, the man explained the basics and took me to my room. The cleanliness was perfect, so clean, plenty of fresh white towels, and bathroom was spotless, no problem there. He also gave me the remote control for the air conditioning and that also worked really great so you could sleep well. Bed was fine, seemed clean also, as someone said Quirky decoration. And surprisingly quiet. So if you aren’t after a fancy hotel room it’s fine. Only Basic liquid soap amenity supplied. The Front door is locked at 8 pm, and the hotel rooms access, they give you a keys to access, so it seems quite safe, closing early in that area is probably a good thing . Easy to walk to the Old Town and all the sights.
