We stayed in 4 different hotels during this vacation and Pullman Yalong was by far the most disappointing one, although to be honest part of it comes from expectations. Pullman Yalong is a decent 3-4 star hotel, whose main problem is that expectations associated with the brand make it seem to be something it is not. Chinese breakfast is actually quite decent and has a wide range including MaLaTang, if you are craving Western food though it probably isn't worth the price. They have a big sign near the lobby recommending that you should not bring delivery food to your room, due to health and safety reasons, but feel free to ignore that. We ordered both room service and outside delivery on several occasions and deliveries were definitely a better option. Plus there is a food court and a supermarket not far from the hotel. The pool is quite big and its lower section is well shaded as well which a plus. However it was a major disappointment that the slide was closed(long term) as well as the cool cave you might see on the hotel's photos. On top of that there are some downright ridiculous designs ideas including a horrible pool access and sharp edge stairs inside the pool. The beach in Yalong is all public, but the access to it is limited by occasional path between some of the front row resorts. What this means in practice is that you will have a bit of a walk having to go around Marriot in Pullman's case. The room was OK, even had a bath and a walk-in wardrobe. The high point was the balcony above the pool. Signs of disrepair are visible around the hotel, but to be honest this seems to be the Yalong/Sanya standard at least for the 4 star hotels we stayed in. Jacky, I hope I got the name right, who worked in the lobby/shuttle car was great though. Not because he spoke good English(which he did), but because he had a problem solving attitude and wasn't afraid to approach guests to offer help.

Pros: - Large, beautiful & maimtained in its ideal state area. There're lots of bright birds in the hotel territory: you can watch them on the pond, grass or I front of gulf fields in the morning & it's quite relaxing. Same way there're lots of bright flowers, blossoming bushes & beautiful trees - Lovely & helpful staff. Friendly ladies at reception desk, lovely housekeeping ladies, making everything clean & shining in a blink of an eye, nice baggy drivers, always ready to pick you up on the road, - thanks to everyone! Unfortunately almost no one talks English, but nobody suffers much as translating apps make it possible to solve any problem asap. Special thanks to Annie Li (hope, I remember the name right): she was very obliging & kind, serving our reservation & calling us a taxi to the railway station - There's a large, fully equiped gym - a treadmill, a cable machine, a Smith's mashine, a stationary bicycle, a rowing machine & some other. Same way there're some sets of dumbells, some inclined benches, cardiosteppers, fitballs, abs rollers, yoga mats, etc. Any type of fitness activity is available. And the most amaizing part is that sports is not popular, so the gym is never overcrowded. Never saw there more than 4 persons - There's a kids' centre near the pool & no kid will feel boring while letting the parents have some rest - There's a spa centre. We didn't use it unfortunately, so can't say, how good it is, but for sure, it should be good as everything in this hotel - As for the hotel location, it's located a bit outside the main road, that makes it quite peaceful, quiet & calm with not much car noise around. At the same time it takes only 12 minutes of walking to get to the beach or just 3,5 minutes on a baggy - As for the room itself, it was spacious, light & comfortable & it was a real pleasure to have breakfasts at a balcony, watching lazy chipmunks moving from one tree to another, white herons, eating something in the grass or golfists choosing the right stick somewhere afar. Also there's an air dehydrator in the room Cons: - For us there was no disadvantages at all, but maybe for someone it's not comfortable to walk 20 minutes to the Yalong bay restaurant area. Can't imagine anything else. Anyway, we really admire all the staff who maintain this large hotel in such an ideal state. We got much pleasure staying there

Mission hills is the great place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the nature. It is located away from all the hustle of the modern cities. The room is spacious, there is a huge bath with the tub and a seperate shower. The view from the balcony is spectacular. The service is up to its five star standard, especially I would like to thank you Miss Lilian Du 杜琼兰， who was very kind to help me with my request

Located at the far side(if looking from Sanya) of the Yalong bay, just by the beach. Overall a decent place for a reasonable price as far as Yalong bay is concerned at least. The suite is really spacious and has a working stove and a washing machine. Also, on top the AC the room also has the ceiling fan which was great, because it kept the room cool enough even with the AC turned off. The pools have a nice layout, are almost clean, but tend to get seriously hot by the evening. The beach is just in front of the hotel though. The cook that led a baking activity for the kids was really nice.

This was my third time staying at the St. Regis. Eaton from check-in, was very friendly and informative about everything happening at the hotel. We traveled for a friend’s birthday so we booked the garden villa. We actually stayed in the exact same garden villa from a previous trip! Our garden villa was spacious and they provided us with a nice welcome snack and wine! Our butler Caroline, was very helpful throughout our entire stay and always made sure we had everything we needed. She was very kind and caring. Throughout the morning or day she would message to see if we needed anything or buggy service. She made sure our laundry was picked up and returned to us in a timely manner. She made sure we received a birthday cake! Our Ayi Parttime, was also very friendly and made sure to make special decorations for the birthday! Breakfast was very delicious with a wide variety of options and free flow champagne 🍾 David from Driftwood was very kind and helpful throughout our stay as well. Overall, the stay was very relaxing and I would stay again. Also, the Ocean and Sky Bar was a nice addition and provided a very relaxing environment to wind down at after a busy day at the pool! Chloe was very nice and made sure we had our drinks or anything we needed. Some things that need improving are: the garden pool villa has too many trees so there is not much exposure to the sun, the pool equipment (chairs and recliners) are out of date and need updating, the Ocean and Sky should have the band play later than 9pm on weekends (it was a great place to relax and chill with a drink but the live music stopped too soon). Besides that, I would recommend the St. Regis to anyone looking for a nice and relaxing holiday!

The hotel is in traditional style with a hint of modern, however it is a bit outdated and needs renovation, hence the affordable price. Rooms are spacious, clean, bed comfortable. We were in superior room on 2nd floor (description says no windows) however there are windows and balcony, but balcony is a loggia so you do not get enough light. The area by the pool is amazing, so calm and relaxing, you can really feel the zen (or we were just in a not busy season). The beach is ok, you have sunbeds, parasols and towels from the hotel. Breakfast was great, great selection even for a European travelers. Reception staff speaks english which is a great plus. Lovely Jason from reception was very kind to us and so helpful on our checkout day, it is worth mentioning. Recommending this hotel for a vacation.

This hotel is n a remote place in a rain forest like area. It has a larger number of pavilions with 4 apartments each spread out over a larger area (see first photo). If you do not like to walk, you can always call a cart to take you from the lobby or restaurant to your hotel room. The staff is very friendly, the room and facilities are perfectly clean. The hotel has nice pool areas (see second photo) and hot springs. All in all it is a very nice place with a calm and relaxed atmosphere. We would definitely go there again if we would have the chance.

Very helpful staffs, good rates during dragonboat festival, not much noise and crowd which is great. The outdoor pool was heated which was great and comfortable.. connects to the other Wanda hotel which is bigger (apartment style hotel) where we had the photoshoot inclusive in the room package. Room was huge and the personalized butler is very proactive to needs. Lovely stay - I would recommend this!

We stayed there second time and it’s a wonderful peaceful place, not crowded, the perfect place to calm down from the busy Shanghai. We stayed in a Pool Villa what is really wonderful. All the staff is so nice and helpful, we needed the Covid Test at day 3 in Hainan and the hotel driver brought us to the local hospital to do it, very convenient, total time 20 minutes. The only weak point is the restaurant, very slow service, one hour to get drinks, maybe a communication problem. And restaurant is very loud. The other days we chose the bar for dinner, quiet, outside seating and drinks and food much quicker. When we need a quiet place we will always come back!

Banyan Tree, my home away from home ❤️ This was one of our best trips all because of the incredible facilities and services that Banyan Tree offers. You are treated like royalty from the moment you enter the grounds till even after we left. We forgot 2 items in our villa and the amazing ladies have shipped it back to us. The ladies at the front desk were amazing the buggy drivers were so helpful and the spa was incredible!!! We didn’t get everyone’s names but Acco on reception, Summer and Anna in the spa were some of the kindest hosts. Every staff member we interacted with, was so welcoming, helpful and friendly. Overall Banyan Tree is a 12/10. The hotel wins for us in all the small details like our welcome gifts, fresh fruit daily, daily pool cleaning and fresh towels and robes. The one and only feeling I have that isn’t 100% positive is the food prices at the hotel. Just be prepared for expensive food, especially if you want steak.

The environment and scenery of Wuzhizhou Hotel are beautiful, the hotel service is very good, the front desk service is good, the front desk specialist Xiao Cui, add WeChat in advance, inform the itinerary route, answer questions in time, guide check-in, adjust the room type appropriately, the space and scenery in the room are satisfactory; suitable for family and parent-child travel, give a thumbs up

Facilities: Not outstanding but OK, the floor and wallpaper are bulging and moldy. There is no way to deal with the location, and it is old. It needs to be renovated. The hot spring is good, but it is very hot and needs to be drained in advance~ Sanitation: Clean, the only thing is that there are many fallen leaves in the swimming pool, and the water is not circulating all the time. Someone comes to clean the swimming pool every morning, but there are still some fallen leaves. Environment: It is on the mountain and very quiet. The sound of airplanes is a bit loud~ If you want to come here, remember to rent a trolley! Otherwise it is really inconvenient Service: Butler Ma Jie provides very good service, he is a concierge, a front desk, and a waiter! He does all kinds of work. There are indeed not many waiters in their family, and they are short of staff during the Spring Festival. The buffet is not delicious, ordering is OK, it is inconvenient to travel, there are no supermarkets and restaurants around, and shopping is a bit far~ Thank you for upgrading my room type~

A good check-in experience, good front desk service, fast check-in. Breakfast feels very healthy, I like it very much! It is very close to Xiuying Port, Xinhai Port, and Haikou Railway Station, so it is very convenient to travel by high-speed rail! Those with children can go to the nearby Holiday Beach, Guanhaitai Wuyuanhe Wetland Park, Crater Park and Huanying 100 for a walk. If you like seafood, you can also go to Rongshanliao Fishing Village, which is caught by local fishermen in the near sea and sold on the spot, which is very fresh. Service: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Environment: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The hotel architecture was very nice, made good use of tall and beautiful spaces. Being in the middle of the rainforest, it is quiet and relaxing. The food is not so good, the cooks don’t seem to understand produce very well and end up eating tough meat and and very dried fish. The breakfast zhou is not so bad though. Apart from the food, the staff wasn’t too useful with the covid policies, they didn’t facilitate or helped us to get to a covid testing place so we end up spending the entire day just for that. The place is clean, not much else to say about that. Installations are a bit old, some of the lights are flickering, woodwork needs some love. But the best part is the bathtub, very big very clear and comfortable with thermal mineral waters coming straight from the mountains. I

The hotel is near Qixianling, surrounded by hot spring hotels. This hotel opened earlier and the facilities are a little old, but the room we stayed in was just renovated and the facilities were OK. The garden is full of betel nut trees, the swimming pool is large and the water is clean. The hot spring pool is separated for men and women, but there are few pools. The breakfast is pretty good, but the cleaning is slow. The overall price/performance ratio is OK
