Distance to the opposite lake shore is 550 m. Distance to the national park is 7 km along the road. Tourist facilities of Lemmenjoki are near (6 km). There are versatile transportation and trip supply in Njurgalahti (6 km), for example, transports to Lemmenjoki gold digging areas and to Ravadasköngäs waterfall, equipment rental etc. (see www.luontoon.fi). In Njurgalahti, there are nature trail (length 4 km) and mountain route of Joenkielinen (length 16 km).
