Spice Bazaar

The Spice Bazaar (Turkish: Mısır Çarşısı, meaning "Egyptian Bazaar") in Istanbul, Turkey is one of the largest bazaars in the city. Located in the Eminönü quarter of the Fatih district, it is the most famous covered shopping complex after the Grand Bazaar.

It is said that it is a spice market. In fact, the things sold are similar to the Grand Bazaar. 香料市场——就离大巴扎不远处，是伊斯坦布尔最大、最古老的香料市场，建于17世纪60年代。这里除了卖各种香料外，也卖其他的各种工艺品，只是规模略小一点，所以价格也会略便宜一些。商贩们都会说一点中国话，进门就会打招呼，很客气友好，可以和他们合影，都很大方的。

We went to get gifts for family and Turkish Delight (all flavours and freshly made daily) we got 3 x boxes (18 pieces in each hand-picked) for 90 Turkish Lira so about £10, bargain and so delicious. The Turkish people are lovely and enjoy a good haggle too so haggle away 😉
