TTamuStayed here twice before and was satisfied with experience. Unfortunately, this time, I had to change the room as the curtains were falling down and wouldn’t close. The replacement room they gave me smelled of sweat and wee. Other than that the hotel is nice and reasonably priced. Parking is good. Cleaning needs to be prioritised to improve the experience

TTrevor McMullanWe stayed 3 nights. Pretty much everything was straightforward. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean, though a little dated in parts (swimming pool area). Parking was expensive but easy, and the location close to the City Centre was just a dream. All of the main Roman and city attractions are within easy walking distance. All in all a really good stay. The only niggle I have, is that on the first night we ordered room service after a long trip. It took 3 attempts for the order to be correct. This was disappointing but at the end of the day, it was no massive issue.

TTamuI took my wife here for her 60th, amazing staff receptionist charlotte was warm and knowledgable, very kind giving us a token due to birthday.
The infinity pool is amazing warm clean, Shrigley would make much more money if they served drinks while in the pool, but we would still be there now.
The rooms are adiquate they are clean, the shower's are amazing, Dinning for evenning meal again was excellent, the service is 11/10 and I have been in a number of Spa the meal cost were really well priced with excellent food.
Breakfast in the morning self service again pleanty to choose from and again tasty with great choice.
It is a amazing spa with the ability toplay gold or have a number of treatments, and well priced, I will return there

TTamuAnniversary away break. Location on edge of Chester close to motorway.
Nice grounds, busy carpark and popular venue for parties and business guests.
Carpet on second floor dirty and smells.
Sink kept blocking because plug holes full of scum.
Toilet seat incorrect size and not secured properly.
Bed comfortable, nice towels tea and instant coffee and bottles of water in room.
Breakfast nice selection BUT no fresh decaffeinated coffee only instant granules yuk!!! Nothing worse than awful coffee!!! With so many decent decaffeinated options available and customers not drinking caffeine this is totally unacceptable.

IIt’s Me AntoI had a good stay with my girlfriend at The Tytherington.
The only thing we were unhappy with was the food. It took about 1 hour to receive our food, and we were also told different information about the Kitchen closure time. Likely, we could give our order on time, but someone who was served after us was not able to. It seemed that on the day we visited, the kitchen staff was either short-staffed or had other issues. The staff behind the counter looked inexperienced, with only 1 or 2 who knew what to do, though they had too much to do already and couldn't assist.
The view from their garden was great, over their golf pitch.

TTamuLovely hotel and great location however the room was disappointing for the price, one of the armchairs was badly damaged and the other brown stains on the material. Sections of wallpaper were peeling off which gave it a very tired appearance.
The iron board was also broke and we had to prop it up on a chair. The room we booked looked nothing like the images on the advertisement and I had to check with reception we had the correct room.
For £330 a night I don’t feel we had a premium room, the staff however were lovely and very welcoming.
