The hotel was more conveniently located for public transportation (trolleybus) to Salzburg city center than I had expected. Many lines pass right in front of the hotel, and there is a large shopping mall and supermarket next door, where we could easily purchase groceries during our stay. Despite the hotel being very busy and crowded with guests, the staff at the reception desk and the breakfast restaurant were all friendly and attentive. The view from the hotel lobby was also very nice. One neutral point is that the hotel's entrance sign on Sterneckstrasse could be improved. We spent about two minutes walking around the building trying to find the entrance. Perhaps you could consider adding more signage or a clearer indication of where the entrance is? Unfortunately, I encountered some issues that overshadowed these positive aspects. Having had a very satisfying experience at a BW hotel in Bologna, Italy (which I hadn’t expected much from since it was just a one-night stay during a road trip, but everything from the breakfast to the bed and interior was fantastic), I had high expectations for this BW Plus hotel as well. Since I visited during a busy tourist season, I didn’t expect an early check-in and everything seemed fine until I entered the room in the evening. First, I found what appeared to be traces of a previous guest in the toilet—yes, a small spot of something brown. It was tiny, less than a quarter the size of a fingernail, but it was still noticeable. I have poor eyesight and often get scolded by my wife for not noticing things like this. I also noticed similar dried brown stains on the bathroom floor, which I assumed were the same thing. The showerhead had limescale and mold, which didn’t leave a good impression. These are issues that could be easily resolved with a bit of bleach, and I thought it would be nice if the housekeeping staff paid more attention to such details. The most disappointing thing was the pillow filling, which I’ll simply attach a photo of here. Many guests, especially those from Asia, praised the breakfast highly in Google reviews, so I had some expectations. However, having stayed at many hotels in Europe, I didn’t find it particularly special. In terms of taste, I would rate it around 70-80 out of 100. (To be specific, I would compare it to breakfast at other four-star hotels like the Grand Hotel International Prague or the Holiday Inn City in Düsseldorf) In conclusion, despite these issues, I still want to give the hotel a 4-star rating. This is because I was able to book a room just two weeks before my trip for a rate of around 150 euros per night, which is quite reasonable during peak season in this area. I am confident that with a little more attention to cleanliness and room hygiene, this hotel could quickly improve its customer satisfaction. Despite the concerns about hygiene, I was overall satisfied with my stay at this hotel. This review is written not as a criticism but as a form of encouragement. would definitely come back & stay at H+ Salzburg if i have the chance to go Salzburg again. The bus & train stations are just right in front of the hotel, make it easier to go to Hallstatt or the outskirts. There’s a mall beside and a lot of good food around too. The view from the hotel was amazing too, not to mention that the front desk was super informative and friendly. i felt welcome! hope to see you again H+ Salzburg 👋

Sambutan yang kami terima sangat buruk. Saat memesan, saya memilih suite untuk 4 orang dengan 2 kali sarapan (anak-anak tidak sarapan). Saat tiba di hotel, kami dikenakan biaya tambahan €160 untuk anak-anak, karena kami diharuskan membayar sarapan mereka. Tidak ada alternatif lain. Keranjang sambutan hanya berisi satu apel! Untuk hotel bintang 4, ini tidak dapat diterima. Sauna di kamar mandi sempurna, tetapi tidak mungkin untuk mematikannya. Tidak ada jubah mandi untuk membawa kami ke spa. Pengering rambut tidak berfungsi. Ada petugas pintu dan valet yang tersedia untuk tamu, tetapi kami menunggu beberapa menit. The hotel location is superb. Easy access to all the historical visit location. All are within walking distance. The hotel personnels are all very helpful and polite. They have share alots of location information and its a great help for 1st time to the city. The hotel facilities is superb. We love the SPA (Sauna, Steambath, swim pool). The breakfast is very high quality breakfast and has many choices. We love their pastry and breads. We definitely will come back to this hotel in our next visit to the city.

We had a truly wonderful stay in Zell am See. The accommodation was clean, beautifully maintained, and in an excellent location—close to everything yet peaceful and relaxing. What made our experience especially memorable was the incredible kindness and support from the hotel staff. We had accidentally booked the wrong dates through an agency, but the hotel team went above and beyond to help us resolve the issue. They handled everything with such patience and generosity, which we deeply appreciated. The property also includes access to a covered parking garage—perfect for those traveling by car. Zell am See itself is a lovely little town, perfect for a peaceful family holiday. Highly recommended—we’d gladly return!

Salzburg is a ok town. Until you show up to the Schloss. What do they have? Great pool. Grab a couple aperol spritzes and go for an underwater breathing competition. Great breakfast. Skip the serve it yourself buffet and Order an omelette and some crepes. Great town. Take the elevator and walk to La Stella. Order the bolognese, the feta cheese pizza, and the tiramisu. Drink wine and take the long way back. Draw a bath, walk around in the robe, and fall asleep reading. Salzburg is now your favorite town.
