The place is great and quiet. We enjoyed a peaceful night at the hotel and nice breakfast. The staff is helpful and supportive. The room is big and nice. Recommend to stay next time.

Lushan 1934 villa is located in the center of Guling town. It's very convenient for eating and shopping. It's a quiet place. It only takes 3 to 4 minutes to walk from the sightseeing station. There are 500 square yards in the inn. You can take your family and children to have a rest and recuperation. In the evening, you can sit in the courtyard to see the sunset, drink and chat. Like running friends can go to Huajing ruqin lake for a walk around the lake in the morning.

TTamuWe had the best time in this stay, the lady was so kind to us that we feel like we had no way to give back the attention and care she provide for us during our stay. The location of this house is perfect, providing amazing views of the city river and fields around. We had breakfast and lunch which the aunt cooked beautifully and was some of the best food we had in China so far! The room was very artsy, comfortable with nice linens and towels, good water temperature and pressure, and you could see there was a lot of attention to detail.
We had a problem with our taxi driver not being able to receive our payment due to international card restrictions and the lady was so kind to help us without asking for anything in return, we will never forget.
Also she spoke a little English which is very helpful!!
We hope to come again and stay for longer. 💗🙏

TTamuOur stay at the Floral Hotel in Wuyuan was lovely and unforgettable . The family that owns and manages the homestay is extremely kind and attentive. As Europeans, we were very disoriented and had lots of requests and doubts. Lily, the daughter of the family, who speaks English, helped us in any possible way and never made us feel as if we were being difficult. Her mother cooks meals with ingredients straight out of her garden and with locally farmed meat. Thanks to her, we tasted the delicious wuyuan cuisine, with homemade recipes that are far from the stereotypical dishes we eat in Europe.
I can’t stress enough how beautiful the Homestay is. It is located in a small village which might not be a ticketed scenic area, but it’s extremely charming and authentic. You wake up and walk by the river where women are washing clothes by hand in the water. The village feels frozen in time. The house was built by the family’s grandfather, and is the most exquisite building we have seen throughout our trip in China. Beautifully preserved, and every corner is decorated with taste and attentiveness, even the lighting in the room is carefully curated. We stayed in December, and if you are travelling in winter we recommend the smaller room upstairs. It gets much warmer than the bigger room on the ground floor. The room is a real gem, the bed is very comfortable and the small windows overlook the characteristic roofs of the village. We will always cherish our time spent here, and we will recommend the Homestay to all our friends who will visit China, I’d say it is worth coming to Wuyuan just to stay here.

MMateja BokanThis was a very weird hotel experience. Firstly, the staff is great and were very responsive to any issues I had. That being said, the hotel has seen better days. I changed rooms, but both rooms had very dirty carpets and bathrooms which had traces of molding on the silicone connections, and the windows were, in my opinion, small. The showers were clean, but the hairs were not removed for a long time, and the water drained very slowly. During my stay, I even saw a small gecko run across the bathroom... The AC unit is terribly loud too, and I couldn't sleep the first night almost at all because of it. I later got used to it, but it still gave me troubles during nighttime. On the third day, around 8:25, the cleaning staff barged into the room unannounced. Even though I was awake, this created an awkward experience... Later, when they came again, they only quickly knocked before coming inside again... The hotel's breakfast is minimal, and poorly prepared. I'd recommend skipping it, and getting something from the street in front of the hotel instead. The location of the hotel is good, being only a 5 minute walk away from the entrance to the Mount Longhu scenic area entrance.

NNomadic legendGrand house shangrao is one of it own kind built on the lines of some ancient palace. Excellent place to stay and chill in the fresh and serene shangrao this place add more to its beauty. Hotel service is excellent staff is extremely polite especially mr liu jie feng was really instrumental in arranging sightseeing of shangrao vadoo and lingshan mountain. Room are good and very comfortable. Hotel scenery is very serene, there is a small river tributary going next to the hotel along with that hotel has built up a jogging track. So its like mountain and river and you are on a same track. There is also a enjoyment park for kids just nearby.

LLeesa DaviesWe liked the nostalgic feel of the hotel. It makes you feel like you have gone back in time. The room is a little bit dated (shower screens need some attention), however it still had that touch of class. The front steps are a killer, however there is a lift to bring you up the level of the hotel, so we didn't have to worry about bringing our heavy suitcases up the many steps. There is a bus station almost out the front of the hotel to tour the mountains many scenic areas. It is not in the shopping area of Kuling Street, but it's an easy bus ride to visit this area. We liked that there are a few restaurants, cafes and convenience stores close to the hotel as well. We were not able to use our foreign credit card and as we could not use WeChat pay, we needed to find another way to pay for the room with assistance from family with a Chinese bank account. I think it was because it is not part of a large chain of hotels and is in a relatively remote area. But overall we enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

VVictoria93We had a great stay here! All the personnel was nice and attentive, we were registered pretty easily. The hotel offers a pick up service , which is quite convenient.
We had a room with a skylight and a balcony, which was the best. In the morning and in the evening you can sit at the balcony and enjoy a nice view. The room is clean and the towels are changed every day. They serve Chinese style breakfast from 7 to 9, see the picture attached. Since we don't know much about local transportation, they gave us a ride to the local transportation hub where we could hop on a sightseeing bus. Once you get back from your trip in the evening, you can have a nice stroll from a busy Guling street area, it's down the hill and it takes you about 15 minutes to get back to the hotel. Overall, it was a pleasure to stay in this hotel, I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to have a real mountain view from their hotel room☺️
