The room itself is very old, the windows were also poorly cleaned. However the rest of the hotel is nice and updated including the spa and pool area. Overall it was a decent stay, however I would only go back for the spa and not stay there again.

Sarapannya berlimpah, terutama air terjun cokelatnya! Makan malam prasmanan hotel ini juga terkenal di Auckland. Namun, resepsionisnya kekurangan staf; kami tiba setelah pukul 8 malam dan masih harus mengantre untuk check-in. Kamarnya secara umum dilengkapi dengan baik, tetapi yang mengejutkan, mereka hanya menyediakan kopi instan, bukan teh.

Hotel with a central location. Breakfast left a lot to be desired. Check-in was not informative at all. The staff seem to know very little about the meaning of hospitality, especially at the reception and in the restaurant. The restaurant staff at breakfast were poorly qualified or interns, and the supervision made no effort to help. There was a concierge, but they were never available when needed. The business center had a broken printer, and the swimming pool looked more like a public pool than a relaxing area, with an unpleasant atmosphere. In my opinion, the hotel does not reflect a 5-star standard. The room was cleaned just the day before my departure, even with the “Please clean my room” sign on. A disappointing and expensive stay.

Reception service was quick and easy and we had our room upgraded. The room was modern and clean and the staff extremely helpful well manered. The Breakfast was pretty good value for money with lots of choices. The Barista coffee we did not sample but the regular coffee incuded with the Breakfast was pretty average. On the whole we had a most enjoyable stay..

the location was convenient and near to the shops and train. downside is the place is a little run down and to lock the door i had to put more force to it. receptionist was kind and accommodating though.

An airport hotel, two floors and no elevator?!? Fun hauling 23kg luggahe and carry on up the steps. At least the stairway is very wide. The corridors are long and carpeted, difficult to wheel the luggage. Carpet seemed worn and dirty along the corridors. Gym was decent size, didn't stay long enough to enjoy the pool but people were sunbathing when I checked out. Laundry machines are available too.

Arranged to arrive 28th. 2am arrival from international. Apoarently should have dated 27 th arrival 2am. Did discuss this with person at counter as we left to go on our trip. On arrival, 1.am 28th from.12 hours flying, plus 4 hours in airports, person desk pointed this out to me...all i wanted was a bed . They found room 156 for us. Charge of $ 92 gteateful for a bed. On arrval of room could not get any hot water for shower Very disapointed. Not sure if i will rebook again Claire Jefferiex

We just had an unexpectedly delightful experience at the Waiheke Island Motel, so much so that we added another night because we simply couldn't get enough of the place! Our stay began with a minor hitch: arriving late in the evening to find our pre-booked studio room was locked. However, the way the night manager and the team handled this was truly remarkable. They quickly resolved the issue by giving us a significant, stress-free upgrade to a spacious whole house with four bedrooms instead of our original studio. This immediate, generous response demonstrated exceptional hospitality and turned a potential frustration into the highlight of our trip. The motel's location is ideal; it offers a wonderfully quiet and peaceful atmosphere, yet it's in very close proximity to both the shops and the beach. We appreciated the on-site pool and the spa options, and the minute's walk down to the community Saturday market was a fantastic bonus. Our only piece of constructive feedback relates to the spa itself—unfortunately, the cleanliness was not up to standard, which was a slight disappointment. Despite the minor issue with the spa, the exceptional service, comfortable accommodation, and prime location mean we had a fantastic trip. Crucially, the price was quite reasonably priced compared to other places on Waiheke, offering excellent value for money. We will definitely return to Waiheke Island Motel!
