Hotel Dengan Kolam Renang di Sabah, Malaysia

Our recent stay at Shangri-La Tanjung Aru was truly magical. We were visiting to celebrate two very special milestones: our 5th wedding anniversary and our youngest daughter’s 1st birthday. Before our arrival, I reached out to the resort to share our situation, hoping for a smooth stay with two young children. Ezmareena Ismail (Nurish) responded promptly, ensuring that the resort was well aware of our needs. Upon check-in, a gentleman named Jordan (if I recall correctly) went above and beyond by upgrading our room to better accommodate the extra bed we requested for the kids. The surprises didn't stop there. When we entered the room, we were deeply moved to find a thoughtful letter and beautiful flowers prepared by the staff to celebrate our anniversary. It was a heartwarming gesture that made us feel truly valued. Throughout our stay, Melania kept in constant touch via text messages to ensure we had everything we needed and were comfortable. Thanks to the incredible staff and their genuine hospitality, our family had a blissful and memorable holiday. I cannot recommend Shangri-La Tanjung Aru enough for anyone looking for an exceptional experience. We are so grateful for the wonderful memories!

We stayed 2 nights and had a fantastic stay despite the bad weather on the first day. We received great services from the resort management team Mr Karl, Ms Siti, Mdm Lydia also from the restaurant and recreational team members. We look forward to be back again!  Booked the family suite that is beautifully furnished and got a fantastic view of Mt Kinabalu from the room as well as variety of fishes swimming below us.  Snorkelling and kayaking are complimentary for the entire day and was great way for us to explore the beautiful waters.  On the last day, we unfortunately left our tablet in the room and we were notified immediately upon arrival at the jetty and the resort arranged it to be delivered to their jetty office within the same afternoon.  Overall it was a great experience and the welcoming and departure greetings by the management team were certainly memorable and beyond our expectations!

Properti ini cukup kuno karena sudah ada selama bertahun-tahun. Kami memesan kamar di sayap taman. Kurang suka dengan desain kamar mandi tanpa area shower terpisah dari bathtub. Meskipun terdapat berbagai macam aktivitas di sekitar, semuanya dikenakan biaya dan sangat mahal. Kami mencoba memesan lapangan tenis, mereka hanya menyediakan raket tetapi disuruh membeli bola sendiri seharga RM56 per tabung. Sarapannya baik-baik saja. Satu-satunya bagian yang menyenangkan tentang properti ini adalah pemandangan matahari terbenam yang menakjubkan dan pantai berpasir halus.

Mewah dan berkelas. Sangat rekomendasi untuk Anda ingin merasakan sensasi hunian mewah tapi budget sedang.

Hotel Review Positive Points: 1. Air-conditioning was very effective and kept the room comfortable throughout the stay. 2. Great window view – beautiful sea and jetty scenery that adds to the relaxing atmosphere. (see my attached picture) 3. Excellent location – conveniently close to eateries and the jetty, making it easy to get around. 4. Reasonably priced in-house food – offers good value for money for guests who prefer to dine in. 5. Complimentary extra bottled water was provided upon request, which was appreciated. 6. Friendly and helpful staff across all departments – from housekeeping, café, and maintenance to the front desk. Everyone was courteous and attentive. 7. Special mention to the chef – a very kind and gentlemanly person. On our first day, we ordered 6 fried eggs for breakfast, assuming they were included. The chef initially didn’t inform us of the RM2 charge per egg and kindly did not charge us for them. When we later tried to order again, he politely informed us about the charge. We truly appreciated his honesty and kind gesture. 8. very nice grilled meat at the roof cafe (5th floor).The promo price is 5 sticks for rm9.9 . worth to eat! --- Areas for Improvement: 1. Limited breakfast buffet selection – mainly local dishes such as chicken, eggs, vegetables, rice, or noodles. While the food was tasty, there were no options like fresh milk, cereal, or egg station. Fruit choices were also limited to just bananas every day. 2. Window leakage during heavy rain – rainwater entered the room. However, the staff responded promptly and mopped the floor immediately. 3. No robe hooks in the bathroom – makes it inconvenient to hang clothes or towels. 4. Shortage of bath towels – clean towels were only available in the late afternoon after laundry was returned. 5. Extra blanket charge – an additional around rm50-60 was required if requesting one more blanket, which felt a bit expensive. 6. Low water pressure in the shower – the water flow was quite weak, making the shower experience less enjoyable. 7. Housekeeping quality needs improvement – there was sand in the room, and although we informed the staff, it was not cleaned properly even after the feedback. Extra Tip for Travellers: There’s no laundry shop in Semporna town, so do remember to bring enough clothes for your stay.

Homestay selesa dan cantik cuma masa masuk cekin tu ada bau rokok dlm rumah 😌.. untuk location homestay, homestay tgh2 bandar dekat degan shipping mall dan tempat makan, parking di sediakan cuma masa stay tu bila suda beberapa kali keluar msak tmpt parking free tu..access card invalid x blea guna so terpaksa juga lah guna tiket parking yg berbayar. Overall ok juga la cuma kalau blea customer service alert dan cuba laju bila customer chat untuk pertanyaan ya. TQ☺️

Bilik okay. cuma waktu sekarang lebih sesuai tukar ke smart tv mcm hotel lain. ( youtube , netflix ) . parking senang. staff friendly. breakfast hotel tak berapa byk pilihan dan rasa biasa saja. overall 8/10 🥰
