The indoor heat is a little too much even when turn it down like 20 oC. It is -5 to 3 outside. So many onsen option is our reason to pick this hotel. Totally recommend for any small group or family to consider.

Takaragawa Onsen exceeded all expectations. Upon arriving at Jomokogen station, a friendly driver meets you with a sign and drives you comfortably for 25 km. You need to register in advance by sending an email to the hotel. Upon entering, you immediately feel transported to the past: you leave your shoes, choose a yukata robe with an obi, receive socks and special bathing attire, and proceed to your room in a traditional Japanese style (I highly recommend this to fully experience the atmosphere of the place). When you enter the room, you will likely experience a shock, as it feels like you've stepped into an old movie. I recommend a room with a small balcony in the Main building overlooking the river. Check-in is around 3 PM. You can change and head straight to the hot springs. Yes, everyone has been to saunas, steam rooms, and hammams, but the onsen is unlike anything else. It's impossible to convey the emotions. The combination of hot, clear water, pure air, surrounding nature, the rushing river, the play of light on the leaves, the scents, and the silence offers something new and unique. There are three public baths on the premises and one exclusively for women. After bathing, head to the restaurant for dinner, featuring local dishes. I recommend ordering both dinner and breakfast in advance. The food is very delicious and unique. You will sleep on futons, which will be carefully laid out for you while you have dinner. It’s a wonderful experience, and you'll sleep as lightly as a child. I would love to return here to experience that happiness again. One day was not enough.

This is a hotel with a long history since the Edo period. It is 2 minutes away from the bus station and Yuten. The hotel's meticulous service is meticulous and thoughtful, with a smile on your face, and the special apple juice is very delicious. Stayed here for 2 nights. Breakfast was good, but what was really great was the dinner. There are big strawberries. There was unlimited sweetness to eat. It was really great. On the first day of our stay, there was no snow at all. But on the second day, after traveling to the ski resort, when we returned to the hotel, we found snow in front of the hotel and inside the hotel, maybe 1 foot high. Very beautiful, impressive. The first day of showering was outdoors and the atmosphere was very refreshing. Think about soaking in warm mineral water in an atmosphere of 0 degrees. The staff inside helped me directly to the hotel for them to pick up. Then inside the hotel, I ordered the room with an open-air bathtub. The space for living alone is very large. I can go to the hot spring whenever I want. Dinner and breakfast are included in the accommodation fee, it can be said that the price is very high. And dinner and breakfast are very rich, guaranteed to be three pounds out. If it is the hot spring in the collective bathroom, it is recommended to go after dinner, because the room is just next to the collective bathroom, so I heard it very clearly. Everyone concentrated on going in the afternoon. Basically, it was a private booking at 9-10pm. But of course there are criticisms and derogations, that is, the sound insulation is a bit inadequate. Of course, the speech in the next room cannot be regarded as the hotel's fault. But overall I am very satisfied with this stay. Highly recommended to go to this small town to experience slow life.

I think it is perfect for our ６０ couples who are blocked from the outside world to heal the fatigue of work on the day 々. Breakfast was buffet but basically nothing changed. The hot springs are very good, especially the outdoor hot springs. Snow falling on the body under the stars feels special. The hotel staff is the most hardworking I've ever seen, and the same person dials the front desk, the restaurant and so on. There is a young man named Pu who speaks some Chinese in South Korea who is very friendly and tries to meet the various needs of guests. The only thing that was not very satisfactory was the attitude of a typical Japanese male who was rather perfunctory. We wanted to change the dinner time one day and he refused. Later, I asked the young man named Park, he said yes, and then called and confirmed with the restaurant to help us improve our time. All in all a hotel worth visiting again.

The inn is beautifully designed and is perhaps one of the most comfortable places I've had the opportunity to stay in. The onsen baths located in this inn are very clean, and they provide all the amenities you'll need for a stay. The hospitality was amazing - from the valet when you arrive to the impeccable service during the meals. The dinner is also very much an experience in and of itself; not to mention how well the wait staff made sure to attend to any of our needs. In all I would highly recommend Tatsumikan and will be visiting again when I have the chance.

너무 좋았어요~~ 직원분들 모두 친절하시고 밥도 너무 맛있었어요~~ 식당에계신 할머님들도 모두 친절하시고 밥이 너무 맛있었는데 아이들이 쌀밥을 찾아서 난감해했을때 흰밥을 가져다주셔서 감동했어요 ♡ 밤에 애들 재우고 살짝 언니랑 나와서 로비에서 맥주한잔하면서 별구경한것도 너무 좋았어요♡ 앞이 뻥 트여있어서 엄청진짜너무 예쁘게 별구경 할수있었습니다 ! 💞 저녁에 들어가서 방커튼을 안열었었는데 아침에 일어나서 커튼 열었더니... 눈덮인 산과 벌판 그리고 분위기있는 집이 살짝 언듯보여서 너무 기분좋은 아침이었습니다!! 조식도 다른 호텔들이랑 다르게 싸구려부페가 아니고 개인 식사였어요~~ 아침이라 적게 먹는데 한그릇 다 먹고 츠케모노가 너무 맛있어서 오차즈케로 한그릇 더먹었어요....😁😁 2박을 같은 곳으로 예약했다고 모두한테 한소리 들었었는데..다들 너무 만족하고 저장해뒀다가 다음여행에도 오자고 칭찬듣고 9명가족 다들 만족스러운 새해 첫 여행 보냈습니다~~ 체크아웃할때도 너무 정중하게 인사해주시고.. 한가할때 가서인지 문도 영화에서 보던것처럼 열어주셔서 마무리도 너무 완벽히 여운을 남기고 갈수있었어요😃💞 다음에 또 스키여행 가게되면 꼭 다시 갈게요~ 감사했습니다😃💐💐💐
