The hotel is perfect for its price range. No room service, which is a minus, night staff found more friendly. Ac not heating enough. Beds abit low and hard mattresses. However, it’s a good hotel overall.

Very lovely apartment, clean and cosy. Accessing the flat on the first day was like a treasure hunt 😄. Nice location too. Heating can be improved.

The hotel room is so big comparing to other hotels I've been to, everything is nice HOWEVER, it is super far from the city. Although the hotel is only 6minute from the train station, it takes more than an hour to travel from the hotel to the city. The train station is called Watford junction, and it is located in zone 8. Which as we just knew at the moment when we arrived, it is super expensive to travel around especially when we are living in zone 8. It cost around $8 to go to a station in the city, and it still cost you $3-4 to travel around, and everything need to times 2 as you need to head back to the hotel. So the price of the traveling per day per person is more than $20. Which you may use that money to go to a hotel nearer the city. I will recommend this hotel to anyone who have a car, but if you don't and if you are broke just like us, then don't.

Really enjoyed our stay. Hotel in good location just off motorway. Easy reach of London. Plenty of places to get food on site if you don't want to venture further. The staff were the friendliest we meet in a long time and made you feel genuinely welcome. Rooms and bathrooms could do with an upgrade but clean and tidy

One night stay for family birthday, two rooms booked. Due to a conference ongoing at check in had to park some distance and signs for reception weren’t that clear from car park. Check in was ok, friendly and helpful to move rooms booked together so they were next to each other. Rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. Had drinks in Octagon bar staff were really welcoming and selection was great. Ate in Omboo, took some time to be served after having been seated but rest of evening was lovely. Food was varied, tasty and perfect to share. Breakfast was great, amazing selection of food and drinks, service was a little slow waiting for coffee. Overall relaxing stay, service slightly let down what would have been excellent stay. Room bill was attempted to be taken prior to check out though around 5am, bank declined it. Queried this when we checked out but did not really get an explanation, and then settled the bill as would be expected when we checked out. Seems unusual approach.

Would give 5 stars, except: there was an unpleasant smell in the corridors, though the room was clean enough. Handy location at the services, but not safe to walk to the amenities. Service okay but they said that parking is chargeable because the booking was made via a third-party site.

The accomodation & service was fine & what you would expect. I would potentially would have liked a bit bigger selection of food for the evening meals. The main thing that you could look at is making the signage a bit clearer as to how to access the property- we did not expect it to be by the services , so maybe state that in your advert- as we ended up going around the huge intersection again , as we expected a separate entrance for the hotel. This hotel is very conveniently located for access to and from the M1 (which is why I chose it). The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars for location is because if you fancy taking a stroll into the nearby village, perhaps for a pub meal and a drink, then the footpath is non- existent in places and you need to be careful in the dark. But that's not the hotel's fault and as the hotel is clearly set up for travelling business customers, I suppose most people would just drive a couple of minutes to the local pubs (which were more lively than the hotel bar). Aside from that, everything else was fine. The staff were all helpful and polite and the breakfast was delicious and filling. And the room was fine too. Overall, this hotel worked well for me on this occasion and I am happy to recommend it
