The fortune sticks here are also famously accurate. How to pray: 🙏🏻 Follow the arrows inside, take 3 incense sticks, light them, then face away from the temple to pay respect to heaven and earth first. After that, place the incense sticks in the pot in front of the temple. 🙏🏻 Walk inside to the right (arrows guide you). If you want to draw a fortune stick, take a fortune stick container from the counter on the right side. There are also Seng Pua sticks for divination; if you don’t want to use them, just don’t take any. If you don’t want to draw a fortune stick, just go inside to pray and exit on the left. 🙏🏻 Before shaking the fortune sticks, make a wish or say your name, birthdate, age, and address. 🙏🏻 After getting the fortune stick, give it to the uncle behind the counter. The street is one of the popular landmark in Singapore. While walking along the Muscat Street, i saw the imposing golden-domed of Masjid Sultan. I also see the hotel nearby which can be a good location in the street. It also such nice place to walk, especially for tourists. Will be back again to discover more about this beautiful street! Today, we are reviewing a total of 3 neighborhoods to visit in Singapore. The first neighborhood is Chinatown, a must-know area for every tourist. This neighborhood is filled with restaurants, cafes, accommodations, and souvenir shops lining both sides of the street. Tourists can stroll through every alley and side street here—there are so many alleys! You can walk along the streets for a long time. The second neighborhood is Bugis Street, which is somewhat similar to Chatuchak in Thailand. There are plenty of souvenir shops, fashion items, and food. In this area, there is a popular photo spot—the colorful stairs located behind the Bugis market. The third neighborhood is Arab Street, which is covered with beautiful street art on the walls. Tourists love to take photos with the street art here. This neighborhood also has a beautiful mosque called Sultan Mosque, where you can take photos as well.

Arab Street, located near Bugis MRT Station, is more than just a historic and picturesque area — it’s also a rising café haven that blends culture, charm, and caffeine. We started our stroll at Cantina, a cozy Mediterranean-inspired café tucked along the street. With boho-style interiors, warm ambiance, and a selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes, it’s the perfect place to unwind. A small merchandise corner adds a lifestyle touch to the experience. Their Masala Chai was a standout — aromatic, spiced, and soul-warming, offering a peaceful break amidst the bustling street. Just a few steps away, we made our way to the iconic % Arabica, strategically located at a corner lot facing the majestic Sultan Mosque. The café’s minimalist design, signature Slayer espresso machine, and world-famous “%” logo make it a favorite for coffee lovers and Instagrammers alike. We ordered a hot black coffee, smooth and bold — a perfect contrast to our earlier chai stop. Though the queue was long, the service was fast and the coffee, worth the wait. It was a short but fun trip. We booked our hotel in #IbisPearlHotel. The hotel is quite small but it was decent, clean and near the MRT station. I also liked the orange juice vending machine, #ijooz, in the hotel lobby. Very delicious, convenient and refreshing! :) We have been to#sentosaisland and we were really amused by the attactions in #universalstudiosingapore. And oh! We also tried the #skylineluge which was super fun! On the succeeding days, we have explored and bought souvenirs in #chinatownsingapore, #mustafacentre and #bugis. We also tried the #rivercruise in #clarkequay. Over all, we enjoyed our first Singapore trip and we will come back again in the future, for sure!

You can visit all the major landmarks, including MBS, in just one day. 🚩Travel Route - A total trip of about 3 nights and 4 days is just perfect☺️ Day 1: Arrival - Jewel Changi - Orchard - Accommodation Day 2: Merlion Park - (Take a boat across) - MBS - Gardens by the Bay - Flyer - Supertree - Clarke Quay - Accommodation Day 3: Sentosa USS - Luge - Palawan Beach - Siloso Beach - Lau Pa Sat (Satay Street) - Accommodation Day 4: Haji Lane - Bugis - Mustafa - Airport 👌🏻 Also, if you have some extra time, I recommend adding 1-2 days to your itinerary to explore Malaysia! You can enter Johor Bahru, Malaysia by car from Singapore! You can visit two countries in one trip, and Malaysia is much more affordable compared to Singapore, so it won’t be a big burden!! 💡Notes - It’s well known, but smoking is only allowed in designated smoking areas. Usually, if you see a green trash bin, you can smoke there, but not all trash bins are smoking areas, so smokers should be careful! - You cannot bring durians on public transportation. The smell is so strong that this unique rule exists! Also, if you plan to drink alcohol, please allow enough time between eating durian and drinking. #favouriteitinerary Here is a step by step guide to getting to Haji Lane, Singapore and trying to have the best time there ~ Firstly, you might want to go to Bugis MRT and exit from Exit B and walk to the direction of Raffles Medical until you start seeing a Mosque where you’ll find Haji Lane & Arab Lane nearby. (the GPS should be accurate too) There are mainly a lot of photo booths in Haji Lane (they’re the reason why I visit haha). If you come in the day time, make sure to try out the viral hot chocolate from the French American Bakery. The lane is full of clothing stores, thrift stores, cafes, bars, etc. The pictures I posted include Coffee Donkee, which is very beautifully decorated and looks like it’s straight out of Kyoto, Japan. Do try visiting ~

Adjacent to it is Arab Street, where I particularly love the unique shops, especially the dazzling lanterns that are simply irresistible. Nearby Baghdad Street is a haven for perfume enthusiasts, with numerous shops offering a wide range of fragrances. If you get tired or too hot from walking around, there are covered malls nearby where you can take a break and enjoy some air conditioning. It's best to visit in the late afternoon, around 2 or 3 PM, to fully experience the lively atmosphere.
