Escape from the sick and travel to #HatYai. I had the opportunity to spend a night in Songkhla. We started the day in Songkhla Old Town, riding a scooter around the old city. We replenished our matcha at Kirara, a new matcha cafe that I must say is incredibly delicious! 🍵 I absolutely loved it! Afterwards, we headed to Hat Yai and stopped for lunch at Tamrada, a halal restaurant with delicious food and a som tam that was perfectly prepared. After finishing our savory meal, we had to have dessert at The Fellows.hdy. The restaurant is wonderful, with beautiful colors that made us want to change and check in. The spacious cafe offers a wide selection of drinks, including toast for dessert. If you have the chance to visit Hat Yai, I highly recommend it! 🤗👍🏻 📌If you're short on time, check it out! #HatYaiTravel Escape from patients and travel to #HatYaiTravel. Let's go! On this trip, we only had one day in Hat Yai, so we started at young.yu cafe. It's a cute cafe near Khlong Hae. The shop is super homey and the drinks are delicious. The chocolate brownie cake is amazing and so delicious. We had about 30 minutes to chill at this cafe. After that, we ran some errands and then picked up a friend at the Hat Yai bus terminal. After that, we went for a bite to eat at Ayam Chon, a halal Korean restaurant with average flavors. It's worth a try. The atmosphere is great. After savory food, we had to have something sweet at the next-door cafe, Sapakafe 36, a Hat Yai branch coffee shop. The shop is spacious and comfortable, perfect for meeting up or working. The atmosphere is great. I heard that Penang is similar to Phuket. How could we miss it? But if we want to travel easily by plane, what fun would it be? We have to take the train.. which is not difficult at all. More importantly, it is not expensive. We started by taking the last bus from Phuket to Hat Yai. We will arrive in Hat Yai around 4.00 am. -> When we arrive at Hat Yai Transport, find a car to the train station to buy a train ticket from Hat Yai to Padang Besar. It costs 50 baht. The ticket counter opens around 6.00 am. While waiting for the train, we went to eat dim sum at ‘Chok Dee Tae Tiem’ restaurant. The bak kut teh here is very delicious. We highly recommend it. -> The train leaves at 7.30 am, right on time. It takes about 1 hour to reach Padang Besar station. -> When we arrive at Padang Besar station, we have to get off the train to go through immigration. Just follow the signs. We felt that it was quite easy. The immigration did not ask anything. -> After going through immigration, buy a train ticket. Badang Besar-Butterworth Price 11.40 ringgit from the machine -> Buy a ticket and wait for the train on the platform. Don't forget to check the time. It must be Malaysian time, which is 1 hour ahead of Thailand. It takes about 2 hours to reach Butterworth Station. -> When you get off the train, follow the signs to the ferry terminal to go to Penang Island. Songkhla Central Mosque or the Taj Mahal of Thailand, beautiful as its reputation, spacious area, prayer point inside the upper floor, in the evening, recommend coming during sunset, take pictures at the pond with a beautiful mosque view. 2. Wat Kok Piew, very good atmosphere, has both ancient sites and interesting buildings, has a beautiful 7-headed Naga statue, there are both Thai and Chinese tourists, stop by to make merit. 3. Wat Laem Pho, an old temple built in 1787, about 18 kilometers from Songkhla city, spacious parking lot, has a viewpoint of Tinsulanonda Bridge, has Koh Yo cultural market. Inside the temple, there are old sculptures that the Fine Arts Department has registered as ancient sites and there is the largest reclining Buddha statue in Thailand.
