#MarchGoodPlaces2025
Yongquan Park is located in the East District of Taichung City, close to Taichung Railway Station. The park, also known as the "Taiwan Sugar Lakeside Ecological Park," covers an area of 22 hectares. There are several areas in the park: Imperial Sugar Factory Building, Lakeside Trail, Colored Sugar Platform, Green Corridor, Forest Walk, Foundation of Civilization, Light Track, Full Moon Wheel, Manbo Stairs, Sugar Square, Dressing Room and other areas. In addition to the LaLaport shopping center next to Taichung Station, it takes about an hour to walk around the entire park centered on Xingquan Lake and take photos and check in. In the park’s lakes, you can see many water birds perching on the water and foraging for food. The ecological and environmental protection measures are also in place to allow natural creatures to coexist and prosper with humans. This is also a good place for sports and leisure. Many people walk and jog along the lakeside trail to exercise. Having such a good park environment is a blessing for all citizens.
