The small village is hidden between the snow-capped mountains and the forest. There are about 30 households in the village. Yading in Tibetan language means "the land of the sun", which is named after the long sunshine they have. The Village is located inside the Nature Reserve, first arrive at Shangri-La Town, there’s is a very convenient multi floor parking where to leave the car, just next to the Tourist Center. Buy the ticket and a bus will take you to the Yading Village. The Tibetan style Village is beautiful, nice accommodations in local guesthouses, yummy food (quite expensive but everything seems imported from nearby town).
