Wat Phra Prang is a historical site situated in the Si Satchanalai Historical Park, Si Satchanalai District. It is located outside the old city walls of Si Satchanalai, approximately 3 kilometers southeast, adjacent to the Yom River. It is a large group of ancient sites and a royal temple of the Ratchaworawihan level. There are important ancient sites in the temple, such as the main prang, which is made of laterite plastered with cement in an architecture from the Ayutthaya period. Inside the prang, there are still traces of mural paintings, but they have faded a lot. 🛕 In front of the prang, there is a chapel, which enshrines a large Buddha image in the Mara-Vijaya posture, and on the right side, there is a stucco Buddha image in the walking posture. Let's come to the temple wall. Here, there will be large round stones and platforms arranged close together in a rectangle, 60 meters wide and 90 meters long. Above the arch, it will be made to look like a roof top.
