Wanshou Temple, an ancient temple in Beijing, is known as the "Little Forbidden City" in the west of Beijing. It is a Buddhist temple with a high standard of establishment. From its initial construction, destruction by fire, to several renovations and expansions by three emperors of the Qing Dynasty, why can Wanshou Temple stand out among the many temples in Beijing and enjoy the royal favor? After Emperor Wanli ascended the throne, he was presided over by Empress Dowager Cixi, who decided to fulfill the late emperor's wish to build a temple to store Chinese scriptures. Therefore, in March of the fifth year of Wanli (1577 AD), Empress Dowager Cixi took the lead in donating funds to build Wanshou Temple on the original site of Juse Temple in the Tang Dynasty. The project was completed in June of the following year, and Emperor Wanli personally bestowed the plaque "Huguo Wanshou Temple". Now there are stamps for tourists to stamp in the temple, which are too exquisite.
