Located in the center of Dublin, the Trinity College Library is an ancient academic book collection institution in Ireland, carrying more than hundreds of years of knowledge. This Baroque building complex, which was built in 1592, displays 200,000 ancient books under the dome of the oak gallery. Marble busts on both sides guard rare documents from Newton's "Mathematical Principles of Natural Philosophy" to the manuscript of the Irish Declaration of Independence in 1916. The core collection of the library includes an important legacy of medieval Celtic civilization - the original copy of the Book of Kells in the 9th century AD. This painted gospel is open to the public in a glass display case with constant temperature and humidity. Visitors can make an appointment to visit special exhibitions such as the prototype of the 15th-century Irish harp and the handwritten letter of the leader of the 1916 Easter Rising. As one of the top ten historical libraries in Europe, its stone arches and stained glass domes form a unique spatial aesthetic, and it welcomes researchers and tourists from all over the world every day.
