[Mahogany Coffee], a decent place to go to in Yeongdeungpo Times Square
Address: 15 Yeongjung-ro, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, Times Square 3rd floor
Opening hours: 10:30 - 22:00
Mahogany Coffee recommended by a friend. It's on the 3rd floor of Yeongdeungpo Times Square, and the double milk flat white and cake are said to be delicious.
Since I was going to eat cake, I ordered Americano for my drink and lemon cream cheesecake for my cake.
Since I had to wait in line to order, I reserved a seat for one person. It's not easy in such a busy place. The parking lot is free for the first 30 minutes, and 1,000 won per 10 minutes after that, and they don't give parking discounts.
I left the cake to my friend's choice, but I looked around seriously. I said the rainbow cake looked familiar, and he said it's from the same company as Mahogany and Dore Dore.
There was also a separate bakery section, but most of the bread was gone, and the daisy cookies were left at an outrageous price of 5,000 won each. They're pretty. The tumbler and mug are cute too.
Americano (Forest Mono ₩5,000) and Lemon Cream Cheesecake (₩9,500) I didn't like the lemon flavor mixed with the bread, so it was okay, but my companions said it was delicious. They said they liked the texture of the lemon flavor. I also liked it except for the lemon part.
I was able to take some pictures of the empty store when I passed by Times Square after closing time, but when I went, there were so many people that I had to reserve a seat and order.
The cafe was pretty when there were no people, but when there were a lot of people, I couldn't see it well and was busy securing a seat. It was okay, but it wasn't my taste considering the price of the cake, so I'll have to try it with bread next time I go.
But if I have time, I want to go to a private cafe outside of Times Square instead of inside. There are too many people here.
