True to the Westin brand's reputation, the location is top-notch. It's especially convenient for visiting Wudadao, which is perfect for nighttime sightseeing. Nearby attractions like the Oasis 66 shopping mall are just a 10-minute taxi ride away, making it easy to explore. I also took the opportunity to check out the St. Regis Tianjin Hotel, which I plan to visit next time. One highlight was the breakfast, which included fried chicken—perhaps catering to Korean guests—making for a satisfying meal. The hotel I stayed in during this trip to Tianjin was absolutely amazing! 🏨 It is located on Nanjing Road in the city center, with Metro Line 1 and Line 3 just outside the door, and transportation is super convenient! Moreover, opposite the hotel is the famous Fifth Avenue Scenic Area. When the lights are turned on at night, it is as beautiful as a movie scene! 🌃 The hotel room is super spacious, and the bed is one of those Heavenly beds that you never want to get up from once you lie down on it. It’s so comfortable! 😴There is also a heated swimming pool on the 5th floor with super clean water, so mothers with babies don’t have to worry at all! 🏊‍♀️The gym is well equipped, with a yoga room, treadmills and more, so you can stay in good shape even when traveling! 💪 What surprised me the most was the restaurant. The breakfast buffet was super rich with both Chinese and Western styles. You can also order lunch and dinner a la carte, and the taste is not inferior to the popular restaurants outside! Especially the Chinese restaurant with Chinese elements, with elegant environment and exquisite dishes. When you come to Tianjin, choose the Westin. It's close to the attractions. Within a 10-minute walk, you can reach the old Tianjin FZ area (Porcelain House, Zhang Xueliang's Former Residence, Fifth Avenue Cultural Tourism Area, etc.), many time-honored brands, Joy City, Isetan, and other shopping malls. You don't need to drive around the bustling areas of various scenic spots and worry about not finding a parking space. The high floors of the executive rooms offer an unobstructed view of Tianjin from morning to night. Sitting by the window is like traveling. The south-facing rooms overlook Fifth Avenue! The rooms are spacious, especially the separate bathrooms and bathing spaces. You can take a comfortable hot bath without feeling cramped. The room I stayed in had a large floor-to-ceiling window with a great view 🌆, and the night view was truly stunning. The bed in the room is quite soft, which might be uncomfortable for some people after a night's sleep 🥲. Disposable bath bags need to be requested by phone, and a robot will deliver them, ensuring good privacy 👏. Taking a hot bath 🛀🏻 in the bathtub at night is very comfortable, and the hotel also provides turndown service. ♡ The dining options also satisfied me. Breakfast is served from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM in the restaurant on the first floor, and you need to swipe your room card. The breakfast variety is quite rich and comprehensive 🥪. Afternoon tea and dinner are served in the executive lounge on the 20th floor, which is open all day 🥂, and no room card is required. Afternoon tea starts at 12 PM, and happy hour dinner is served from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM. Drinks and coffee are available at other times ☕. ♡ The location is also excellent. Fifth Avenue is nearby, making it very convenient for shopping. The hotel's design is unique, and many corners are perfect for taking photos 📷. The overall prices of luxury hotels in Tianjin are acceptable. Compared with other tourist cities, the prices during the summer are very reasonable. This time, because it was mainly near Wudadao, we chose the Westin Tianjin. The hotel is in a very good location, just a few hundred meters north of the Fifth Avenue. Turn left from the hotel and walk for 5 minutes to Minyuan Square. It is very crowded and lively at night. It is a 15-minute walk from the Porcelain House and Xikaitang, and the Quanyechang is also within walking distance. The hotel service staff are all very professional. Although there are many people in the morning buffet, it is generally orderly and there are many types of dishes. The city view outside the room is quite open, but the bed is a bit soft for sleeping, and my waist felt a little sore when I woke up in the morning. Overall, the Westin Tianjin focuses on value for money and is very convenient to go anywhere.

🚴It’s not impossible to take citywalk, but taking a taxi intermittently is more cost-effective. I read a lot of guides that said you can bike the whole way, but the distance between each attraction is 2km, so it's really tiring to walk all day. If the navigation shows no traffic jam, it is recommended to take a taxi to the next main attraction (Tianjin Old Town is very congested, and sometimes taking a taxi is not as fast as riding a bicycle) ⛱️Must-visit attractions: This time I checked in: Tai'an Road British Style District Century Clock Square Fifth Avenue Commercial Street (Nanjing Road Branch) Fifth Avenue recommends a horse-drawn carriage tour or a rickshaw to listen to history for a more immersive experience. The Lion Grove Bridge is worth watching for the grandpas and ladies diving in the afternoon. The Jintang Bridge is very close to Deyun Club and the two and a half hours of crosstalk is worth watching. The 50 yuan ticket for the Porcelain House is really not worth entering. 🏨Accommodation tips: The newest five-star hotel in the area is Conrad Tianjin, which is near the water park and TV tower. It offers authentic Tianjin snacks for breakfast. I booked a fare of 150 yuan per car, which included a tour guide. It is not far from the Fifth Avenue to Xikai Church by bike. 🍜Food tips: There is a steamed dumpling shop next door where locals go to eat. There is nothing much to see in the Ancient Culture Street and Drum Tower. They are just a concentration of small commercial shops in the unified scenic area. The main routes of CityWalk are concentrated along the river.
