A Refreshing Walk Along Sentosa’s Beaches

#singaporetrip I recently visited Sentosa in an attempt to find Sqkii coin (HuntTheNouse). I took a leisurely walk along Tanjong Beach and Palawan Beach. The experience was both relaxing and refreshing, making me feel like a true tourist in my city. Tanjong Beach had a peaceful and laid-back vibe, perfect for a quiet stroll. The soft sand and gentle waves created a serene atmosphere, away from the usual hustle and bustle. Moving along to Palawan Beach, I enjoyed the scenic views and the lively energy of visitors soaking in the sun. One of the highlights was the fascinating recycled structures along the beach. These creative installations not only added an artistic touch but also served as an important reminder of sustainability and environmental conservation. It was great to see efforts being made to blend art with eco-consciousness. Overall, Sentosa’s beaches offer a wonderful escape, whether you're looking to unwind or simply appreciate nature and creativity. I will definitely recommend a visit for anyone seeking a short but meaningful getaway.

#newyearnewtrip I indulged in a mouth-watering mix seafood basket at Sentosa's food truck, and it was a true culinary delight! The crispy calamari, succulent shrimp, and flavorful fish were all cooked to perfection. The portion was generous, and the prices were reasonable. Enjoying my seafood feast by the beach, with the sound of waves crashing in the background, was the ultimate Sentosa experience. If you're craving fresh seafood, Sentosa's food truck is a must-visit. Be sure to order the mix seafood basket – you won't be disappointed!

#amusement #100WaysOfTravel Visited Palawan beach ⛱️ recently and came across this Singapore's first and only indoor electric go-kart circuit at HyperDrive at the Palawan @Sentosa. This 3-level indoor racetrack of 308 meters with 14 thrilling turns is opened daily and suitable for aged 9 and above with at least 140cm height. Come for an immersive karting experience where virtual racing meets the real-life go-karting through its Game of Karts which is enhanced with sound and lighting effects! HyperDrive Cafe which is located on the second level is the perfect viewing gallery for catching all these actions while enjoying delectable dishes too! Indeed a perfect place for bonding activities with family and friends!

Sentosa island’s new beach paradise

There is a brand new beach area on Sentosa island called The Palawan with lots of new attractions to visit! You can laze on the many deck chairs by the beach, or play beach volleyball at the courts marked out in the sand. Even the kids have fun activities to try out, like mini-golf and a water splash park. If you are visiting as a tourist, I highly recommend staying at the hotels on Sentosa itself for ease of commuting. You can consider The Barracks Hotel, Village Hotel or The Outpost Hotel, all located near the new beach area. Have a blast! The Palawan @ Sentosa

#singaporetrip Palawan is the largest beach in Singapore located in the central part of the coast, on Sentosa Island. It is also the southernmost point of continental Asia, near which there is an observation deck overlooking the endless sea and drifting ships. We have enjoyed several activities on the beach and walk around the beach. It is a new place to visit in Singapore. A great spot to enjoy the travel with friends and family.

Seeking the 4 giant trolls on Sentosa’s Palawan Beach

#singaporetrip We set out on a quest one Friday afternoon, seeking out four giant troll sculptures with large front teeth and eyes the size of rugby balls, located at various spots on Sentosa’s Palawan Beach 🏝️ Created by Copenhagen-based sustainability artist and recycling activist Thomas Dambo, these creatures are naturally made out of wooden pallets, crates, floorboards & other recycled trash discarded in Singapore, hence presenting the essential message that trash can indeed be transformed into something beautiful that brings a smile to faces 😍 We encountered some difficulty spotting the 3rd & 4th giant trolls as they were concealed in slightly forested areas. Neither the island staff knew where they were, nor were there any signs indicating their locations. To hinder us further, it started pouring heavily 🌧️ just as we were triumphantly striding across the sandy beach to the final giant troll 😅 Pictures were hurriedly taken before we promptly evacuated the non-sheltered zone, drenched but with a newfound sense of achievement 😆 Introducing to you in order of sequence - Curious Sue, Dreamer Dee, Reef the Chief & Little Lyn!

A new Palawan beach!

Have not been to Palawan beach for a while and the constructions upgrades were mainly completed during the December 2023 visit. A new water area with mini slides and restaurant - Splash Tribe can be a cool hangout for family with kids. Have not explored the indoor go-cart building yet. There are a handful of food vans available for lunch and a new restaurant as well for food options.
