This stay at The Hari in Wanchai in a standard room with semi-buffet breakfast was enjoyed from 7am to 11am at 1/F Lucciola Restaurant & Bar. I chose the chocolate chip cream pancakes, made to order, the chocolate chips were hot melted by the pancake into chocolate sauce, soft and delicious. Another ham and cheese omelet, fried whole without falling apart or too dry, and tasted good. The room is smaller, but fully equipped and the quality of the supplies in the room is good. Even the standard rooms have Nespresso coffee machines. The King Size bed is supportive and very comfortable, but the pillows are a bit soft. It would be much better if I changed to latex pillows! The bathroom amenities, as well as the bathrobes and slippers are all of such high quality. The hotel's exterior is a narrow rectangle, and the most fashionable part is the hotel lobby. The overall atmosphere is very cozy, with various magazines, decorations and paintings on display. When I checked in, I saw many urban beauties having afternoon tea, and the atmosphere was great. The rooms in Hong Kong hotels are not big. We chose a 30-square-meter superior room, which cost just over 2,000 yuan. The difference between it and the premium room of the same square meter is probably the view. The latter has a street view. I regret not choosing the premium room. I like the wooden background wall in the room, it has a high-end feel. The hotel restaurant and gym are not very big, so it is not easy to have a gym. The breakfast is HK$238 per person, which is average, and the a la carte menu is quite rich. This hotel opened in 20 years, which is relatively new in Hong Kong. After the sharp increase in hotel prices in Hong Kong, The Hari is really a very cost-effective choice.

The address indicates that it's quicker to get there from Wan Chai, but in my opinion, it's more convenient to walk over from Times Square in Causeway Bay 😉. The hotel's design is quite trendy, and although the rooms aren't particularly large, everything is meticulously designed and looks great in photos 😬. The funniest part is that the bathroom and toilet are separated by two doors, but there isn't a hook for hanging clothes or towels in the bathroom 🤥, although there is one in the toilet 😂😂. It can be a bit awkward when visiting with friends 😂😂😂. However, the room has a coffee machine, and the staff is very accommodating if you want ice, and the fridge is adequately cold. We went to their Japanese restaurant for cocktails, which were quite good. We also ordered an avocado rice roll, which was tasty. However, the restaurant's positioning is a bit high-end, so we only ordered drinks that day 😌. It's a great place for taking photos as every spot in the hotel is Instagram-worthy. Finally, the next day we went for the semi-buffet breakfast. You can choose one main dish from the menu and then help yourself to drinks and some fruits in the restaurant. The main dish was delicious, but compared to other hotels, the portion size was a bit small, and the variety of choices was limited. Overall, the food was quite good! In summary, I believe The Hari is a grand boutique hotel that caters to the upscale market 😉.
