It’s really magical! You can take the cable car to get close to the animals!
The zoo is located in the north of the city but is easily accessible via the blue line metro which is really convenient the station is right outside the zoo and only 5 minutes from Marques de Pombal station.
You can buy tickets in advance using the machine at the entrance or from the staff there. Once you enter the zoo, the staff will hand you a map. See a variety of animals from elephants to snakes to birds. Absolutely amazing dolphin show, even parrots and some other really great shows. It was also great to see some less common species like white rhinos, orangutans or koalas. There are plenty of shady places to sit and relax, some of which are beautiful with walls covered in classic Portuguese tiles.
The cable car in the zoo is a very unique experience - soaring high above the scenery and some animal enclosures. We had never seen anything like it before and would recommend other visitors to do this as it was something exciting and different! The animals are amazing and we were lucky to see so many up close and see many highlights on our visit. It was very special to see the giraffes, elephants and big cats so close, especially taking the cable car to see the animals. We were amazed the whole time! Perfect venue for us to spend the full 4 hours here.
It's also worth mentioning that there are a few places to get some food and ice cream for a reasonable price, and there are plenty of free toilets scattered around the park.
Tip: Make sure your phone is fully charged because you will definitely be taking lots of photos of the great time you had. These are memories you will treasure for years to come.

My friends circle was bombarded with questions, they thought I went abroad
Here is a guide to Lisbon:
• Local flavor: Cervejaria Ramiro is famous for its tiger prawns. RESTAURANTE D'BACALHAU's fried cod balls are worth a try. Sea Me Peixaria Moderna is a famous seafood restaurant where you can taste fresh seafood.
• External transportation: Lisbon has an international airport with direct flights to major cities in Europe and some cities in the world. You can take the subway, bus or taxi from the airport to the city.

Quick short stay but great Executive Lounge F&B
A super short stay (thanks for the delay hor TAP) ❤️
This spot was very decent for a 9hr stay even it’s almost 15mins away from the airport. Booked this over Moxy as figured the Club Lounge will help settle my dinner for the price difference - great decision! 🍀
My request to be upgraded to the Signature Room was granted and thank goodness because I really wanted a renovated room. The design was modern Marriott but signs of its age showed in its 1980s phone and “coffee machine” which is erm a kettle. I also really do not like having to request for basic amenities at a full service hotel - especially when it’s takes 45mins to send a dental kit. Cost cutting is fine but only if the property pro-rates the price per night too! Cant help but feel shortchanged when I pay full price but basic amenities are not placed in the room on arrival, especially so for late night check ins ☠️
Saving grace was the Executive Lounge which served up an absolutely delicious Spanish suckling pig alongside really nice cheeses. Bummed that I can’t try breakfast here but oh wells 🤖

Benfica Stadium Tour
#2024WishEvent
I went alone, but I was impressed by the friendly explanations of the guide and staff, and their consideration for solo travelers (taking pictures, taking care of them). In addition, the explanations and commentary about the latest facilities, the magnificent stadium, and the history of the club were really well done. In addition, membership members are free!!!!

Didn't expect Portugal to have such a great zoo experience.
I never expected that there would be such a great zoo experience in Portugal 🐒 ||| #Saint Ignatius Zoo [location] # It's really the zoo with the best experience I've ever been to 🐒.

🌺Overall, the environmental construction is excellent. Everywhere is very clean, and there is no stinky smell. You can tell that it is carefully maintained. The animal areas are relatively open, and some even have no fences. It feels very close to the animals. There are also many flowers, plants, and trees in the park. Walking from one area to another feels like walking in a botanical garden🌳.
·
🐬There are many free performances to watch, and there is a specific schedule at the entrance, so you can arrange your time to go one by one. 🕙 This performance is not the kind of animal training performance, but a small activity where staff feed and bathe the animals and gather them together.
·
🦁️The performance in the lion area is the most interesting. There is a closed glass tunnel in the lion area where you can stand inside and watch the process of lions eating 🥩 up close. It was the closest I've ever been to a lion in my life.
·
🐧Next is the penguin area. The little penguins line up and walk outside to the pool to eat one by one, then happily swim in the clear water🏊♀️. There are palm trees on the shore, giving a feeling of being on vacation by the sea🌴. The fence is also relatively low, and two of them walked up to the fence as if they were at our feet.
·
🐯The 360-degree panoramic glass in the tiger area is very refreshing to look at. The glass is very clean, and you can see the tiger clearly when it comes over. You can even take a photo through the window 📷Lisbon Zoo.
·
🐒The environment of the monkey and fox monkey area is my favorite. I directly built a small island in the middle of the lake. Because they often jump around, I also set up many ropes and small wooden houses for them to play with.
·
🐘All the animals inside can be adopted, €5💶 per month to buy food and other expenses for them. Most animals have more than one adopter, and admission to the zoo is free after adoption.
