It was a mess everywhere for a while due to the camping craze, but it is still quiet and cozy compared to Namyeol. Today, I'm going to share my sunrise trip to welcome 2021. I went to #Goheung! Some of you may be hearing about Goheung for the first time. Goheung is in Jeollanam-do and is close to Yeosu! It's a beautiful place with many places to visit, such as Namyeol Beach, Space Launch Observatory, Naro Space Center, and Geumgang Bridge. In particular, #Namyeol Beach is really famous for its #sunrise. I decided on a rural theme for my sunrise trip this time. That's why I chose a #minbak near the beach for my accommodation! It wasn't as comfortable as a pension or hotel, but it was fun to cook and eat with friends and chat.ㅎㅎ I went out at dawn and did Sparkla, which was so much fun! I went there by walking. If you get off at the bus terminal and take a local bus, it takes about 30 minutes. However, although it was easy to get there, the bus schedule changed a lot when leaving, so it was delayed more than expected. So I recommend using your own car or taking a taxi. And when you cross the bridge, be sure to look out the window! You can enjoy the beautiful scenery! It's been a long time since I've been lost because of a bus while traveling, but the sunrise in Goheung was so beautiful that even that became a fun memory. #summervacay Spent a day wandering around Sorokdo, it’s peaceful, a little eerie, and super thought-provoking all at once. It’s this tiny island off the southern coast that used to be a leprosy colony, and you can really feel the history as you walk around. The streets are wide and quiet, with old buildings that look frozen in time. Some parts feel like a ghost town, but not in a creepy way, more like the island’s just quietly holding its stories. There’s a museum that explains the island’s past, and it’s heavy but really important stuff. Definitely worth a stop. Nature-wise, it’s beautiful. Calm sea views, trees everywhere, and barely any cars. I walked along the coastal road for a bit and didn’t see a single person, just me, the wind, and some birds doing their thing. It’s not a typical tourist spot, but that’s the charm. Sorokdo’s more about quiet reflection than selfies. Go slow, take it in, and let the island speak for itself.

There’s a long line on weekends, so I recommend arriving a little earlier than dinner time. There are salt-grilled and seasoned eels! I was wondering whether to get salt-grilled or seasoned grilled, but when I looked around, it seemed like people eat seasoned grilled more, so I picked seasoned grilled for 2! 2025 I went to the POSCO Training Center in Goheung Yeongnam-myeon to see the sunrise on New Year's Day. I was satisfied with the facilities and food, and it was the best accommodation where I could see the sunrise from the balcony. There are museums and other things to see here, adjacent to the beach. Goheung has abundant seafood and is quiet, but it would be good to visit this place, which is the core of the space industry, at least once. The weather is also good and it is a wonderful place.

I paid extra for the barbecue (I bought the meat separately), and they gave me a jaeger so I grilled it for the first time, and it was more delicious than I thought! I can't forget the pork belly at that time ㅠㅠㅠ I woke up early in the morning and went out to the living room to see the beautiful sun rising, and since the weather was nice that day, I was able to take nice pictures from the terrace in front of the door. This is a place I want to visit again when the weather is nice, not when it's cold!
