Worth a visit to this snake temple where u can find many snakes big and small on the trees and in the temple. Nice quiet ambiance. There are souvenirs stalls just outside the temple and also Penang’s own famous chain cafe OO- for their white curry noodles and white coffee. Great place to chill and see snakes. Entrance is free but there’s a fee for taking pictures with the snakes.

There are so many temples on Penang island, and the Snake Temple is another interesting temple. Located in the Bayan Lepas area, the temple is not so big, but there are snakes in this temple. In front of the temple, there are several souvenir shops and an eatery. The car park cost you RM 2. Visitors can purchase joy sticks and candles for praying; the small package is RM 4, big size is RM 9. You burn joysticks and candles outside the temple. Inside are not allowed. There is a Kuan Yin temple at the back of the main temple, in front of the snake house. Several snakes of Phyton and green snakes live in this temple.
