Location was fantastic as it was near flea markets, malls and many other nice shops. According to google their top dishes were the pork belly and the polenta fries. Upon trying their polenta fries, we couldn’t help but fill a miss in expectations. It’s decent but didn’t really live up to our expectations. The overall dish tasted bland in comparison to their other options. The pork belly on the other hand was really delicious, super flavourful fat with an overly crispy skin. This place is super popular with expats for breakfast and lunch. Even with prices there is not shortage of white people eating here. I decided to check the hype for myself. From the moment I came in, I was welcomed with the smiling staff. Sat down and Dwi attended us and she was wonderful with her suggestions. Throughout my breakfast she checked if everything was okay or if I needed anything else. That kind of attention does make you feel good about the place. I think there is lot to like about this cafe. Do know that this place is packed during breakfast hours. So it's better to make a reservation or come early. Yeah it does love up to the hype. The space is actually really nice, bright and airy. Service was good and attentive. Food wise everything is delicious. We ordered a salad, a dirty burger and bolognese pasta with truffle sauce. My only complaint is the truffle taste could have been a little stronger. I think there is a reason why this place managed to stay popular all these years and they deserve it. #balitrip
