[2025 Langkawi Stay] Travel Guide for Royale Chenang Resort (Updated May)

I recently stayed at a resort and found it to be comfortable and worth the cost. The hotel staff were very helpful throughout my stay. The staff was able to help us to check in early and we were able to get a room on the ground floor which was very helpful. The stay was very pleasant. The rooms are comfortable and I liked the touch of the hair dryer being detached, so I could plug it in to where ever I sat. The fridge in the room was a good size. The swimming pool was fine to cool off in as a dip, but not deep enough to swim in. Good location very near to Pantai Cenang. All in all there overall service was exceptional and we had a brilliant stay. A very reasonable price, interesting hotel with an English cottage concept. A very minimalist room, clean and tidy. The staff are friendly and provide the best service. swimming pool suitable for children. a very tasty breakfast ready for delivery at the door of the room. It is located in a convenient area along Pantai Tengah & not too overwhelming like Pantai Chenang. Their staff ate very friendly. You’re able to check out late if the room you’re staying don’t have any incoming guest. Rooms were very cozy with dimmed lights. The bathroon is clean and equipped with strong shower which is really comfortable. Breakfast is excellent, just that it’s ala carte, so you need to order in the morning. The location is ideal, just a short walk from Cenang Beach and close to plenty of local restaurants, shops, and attractions, yet still peaceful and quiet enough for a relaxing getaway. The room was spacious, well-appointed and thoughtfully designed with modern amenities. I especially appreciated the room's cleanliness and the comfortable bedding, which made for a great night’s sleep. The air conditioning and Wi-Fi connection was worked perfectly throughout my stay. The resort grounds are beautifully landscaped and have a serene, tropical feel. There has an open air cafe and several pools, the pool area was a lovely spot to unwind, while the cafe serves very nice breakfast. Staff members were friendly, professional, and always willing to assist with a smile, whether it was arranging transport or offering tips on where to eat and explore. The staff was amazing! They were attentive and helpful. The breakfast was simple with some local choices, cereal, toast and you can get an omelette made. There's a beach 10 mins walking distance away, a few restaurants and a mini market but you'll have to walk a bit to get to Cenang which is fine cause if you're looking to stay near Cenang beach but not so close to all the noise then this is the place for you.
