The reason I wanted to go to England was to visit Harry Potter holy sites 🇬🇧 Here are some Harry Potter spots I found in London. [Location of Diagon Alley] 📍 Leadenhall Market Leadenhall Market is one of the oldest markets in London, built in the 14th century. As you can see, it is Diagon Alley itself. It is said to be the location of the scene where Harry and Hagrid search for items they need at Hogwarts. It has been repainted and renovated now, so it doesn't have that kind of atmosphere, but if you look closely, you can also find the entrance to the Leaky Cauldron. [Entrance to Hogwarts] 📍 St. Pancras Station The one filmed as King's Cross Station is actually this St. Pancras Station. It appears in the scene where Harry and Ron head to Hogwarts in Ron's dad's flying car. From the outside alone, it looks more impressive than the real King's Cross Station, so I prefer this one. [The bridge destroyed by Death Eaters] 📍Millennium Bridge This is a suspension bridge over the River Thames in London It has also appeared in other movies. In Harry Potter, it is used in the scene at the beginning of Half-Blood Prince where the Death Eaters kidnap Ollivander and destroy it. [The long-awaited Platform 9 and 3/4] 📍King's Cross Station This is the No. 1 Harry Potter holy place in London, King's Cross Station, where Platform 9 and 3/4 is set. I didn't have anything in particular to do so I went there just to make a pilgrimage, but I was overwhelmed by its spaciousness and advanced design. The photo spot has a long line at any time of day. When there are no people around, just take a quick photo. If you want to take a commemorative photo, be prepared to line up. There is a Harry Potter shop next door where you can buy souvenirs. Day1 Morning: British Museum (only checked a few important galleries, the whole journey took about 2 hours, the small jade pot was stunningly beautiful), there are many Chinese restaurants around the museum. Just randomly picked a rice noodle place to eat. King's Cross Station (very close to the British Museum, just a few subway stops away) Afternoon: Hyde Park (the hotel is right next to Hyde Park) Buckingham Palace (just stroll through Hyde Park and you'll get there, it's not open at the moment, just take some photos at the entrance and that's it) London Chinatown (then continue walking to Chinatown, have a meal or even several meals there, watch out for pickpockets.) Day2 Big Ben, London Eye (these two are almost together) Tower Bridge (not close to Big Ben and the London Eye, because there are other plans in the afternoon and couldn't do a city walk, so took the bus directly) Royal Observatory Greenwich (you can take the boat RB1/2 next to Tower Bridge to Greenwich, check in at the Prime Meridian, the ticket is 18 pounds, a bit expensive) End of the journey.

Platform 9 3/4 They were first approached by Network Rail to open a shop in 2010, due to the popularity King’s Cross Station and Platform 9¾ had with fans of the series since their first appearances in Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone. It was to be the first ever Harry Potter Shop to open anywhere in the world outside of a themed visitor attraction. An area was reserved next to Platforms 9 and 10 during a major redevelopment of the Station where the store is now located. Once construction was completed, Warwick Davis (who played Professor Flitwick and Griphook in the film series) opened the doors to the shop on December 14th 2012. #bucketlist
