I lit a stick of incense, prayed quietly, and felt the wonderful atmosphere of Macau's diverse cultural blend. In the afternoon, I walked up the stone steps and arrived at Macau’s most representative landmark, the Ruins of St. Paul’s. This historical relic, which has withstood hundreds of years of wind and rain, now only has its magnificent facade left, with exquisitely carved icons and biblical stories, bearing witness to Macau's former glory. I climbed up to the observation deck and overlooked the entire old town of Macau. Red-tiled roofs were intertwined with modern high-rise buildings, and history and modernity blended here, telling the unique story of this city.
