#malaysiatrip The recent famous Hong Kong drama - Modern Dynasty took a few scenes in Malaysia including KLCC and a steamboat restaurant, this cafe also was one of the scenes too! This gives the cafe extra credit to boost up its exposure and popularity. The environment was so great and chill because it has indoor and also al-fresco concept. What surprise me that the outdoor was not feeling hot. The food we ordered are salad ramen and a vegetarian spaghetti, it was great and really recommended!

#foodies I have known Mori Kohi for quite some time but never visited before until it became one of the location to shoot the Hong Kong drama - The Heir to the Throne!!! 😁 It is strategically located in Jalan Tun Razak, Kuala Lumpur with only few minutes away from KLCC Twin Tower by driving and it offers a lot of parking space for FREE for their guests. Overall the environment is good with the forest-themed design and they do offer in-door and out-door seating!! Instsgrammable for sure!! In term of the foods, it is quite nice to us as they offer vegetarian option, meatless foods which is quite rare in KL cafe!! What's a lovely cafe with tempting and scrumptious Japanese fusion cuisine, superb friendly and attentive staff crews, cozy environment surrounded with plants. Pet-friendly cafe which furkids allowed at semi-outdoor garden seatings area. Pet's meal available and surprisingly pet's foods is free. Anpan is an area that is just a short train ride away from the center, and although it has many stylish shops, it is surprisingly not a popular destination for tourists. *This is not anpan (bean paste bread). This time, I will introduce three stylish cafes that you should visit in Anpan 🫶 [Mori Kohi] I didn't know there was such a spacious cafe in Anpan Park! The staff are kind and the atmosphere is relaxed, so you will end up staying for a long time. Ordering is easy because you can use the QR code. I had salad ramen, which was full of fresh vegetables and had a delicious sesame dressing and mayonnaise. The ramen was also well chilled and chewy, and was very satisfying to eat. I also wanted to try a smoothie bowl. The cold brew tea was also delicious. The sweets looked delicious, but I was full so I refrained this time. I will come again! [sōfte] A shop where you can eat stylish ice cream. It is located next to a gallery and is a shop that looks great on Instagram. I had a parfait-style sundae with guava-flavored ice cream, and it was so delicious that I ate the large size all by myself. The combination of the lightly sweet fluffy milky cream, crispy meringue, and sweet and sour fruity ice cream was the final dish! I was a bit nervous about the olive oil that was poured over it, but the olive aroma accentuated the unique flavor. I heard that the madeleines were freshly baked, but I gave up because they seemed to be quite filling. I'd like to try them next time! The staff were kind, and although it's a little pricey, it seems like it would be a good place for a dessert after a meal with friends😆 [Wadi Hadramawt] A Middle Eastern restaurant where everything is delicious! They mainly serve Yemeni cuisine. The lamb kabsah has tender meat! The rice is rich in the aroma of spices and is voluminous. The lamb kebab is very juicy with plenty of meat flavor! The potatoes served with it are also crunchy and delicious. For seafood lovers, we also recommend the claypot calamari and shrimp! They are very hot, so be careful not to get burned. Of course, there are many other delicious options, such as falafel and kunafeh. Be sure to try the slightly unusual star fruit juice! Very nice and relaxing place. Food is clean on the palate. I had the salmon chazuke. It is served with the hot dashi soup poured into the rice. I like the taste of this dish. It has a savoury based. The waffles fries is very crispy and lightly battered. For the corn butter dish, we find the corn a bit tough and not as juicy as expected. The salad was OK. We went there for a birthday celebration with one of our friends. Nice ambience and great services of the staff. Highly recommend the food too. Spacious seatings, love the outdoor seatings as it was more airy and chilly. This café is surrounded by greenery, so it’s a perfect spot to hang being in the concrete jungle Kuala Lumpur! It consists of Japanese rice served with cooked salmon and hot broth, topped with seaweed flakes!
