We took a #tour bus #travelwithoutapersonalcar from Mochit 2 at 07.30 to Sangkhlaburi directly. There is only one bus per day from the bus station to Sangkhla, but there are also other companies but the price is more expensive. We arrived in Sangkhla at 14.30 and checked in to our accommodation. We stayed at a simple homestay. After packing up, we rented a motorbike for 200 baht per day for convenience. We planned to ride to the Three Pagodas Pass. In the evening, from 16.00-21.00, there will be a walking street with a lot of food, but the most popular is Burmese pork fondue. But judging from all the hands being fondue, we were afraid of getting diarrhea, so we decided to eat a la carte instead. In the morning, we woke up to give alms to the monks at the Mon Bridge at 07.00-07.30, but there will also be monks from the outside walking around. There are many alms-giving sets for sale here. If you have Mon clothes, it will be 100 baht. We think the alms offering set here is good. There are 2 dishes, water, and flowers (I went to Chiang Khan and the alms offering set cost 100 baht, but the snacks for the kids were 5-10 baht). Uttamanusorn Bridge, or popularly known as the Mon Bridge, is the longest wooden bridge in Thailand, with a length of 445 meters, located in Nong Lu Subdistrict, Sangkhla Buri District, Kanchanaburi Province. The travel time from Trat to Sangkhla Buri District is approximately 10 hours. We traveled by private car. When we arrived at the bridge, we met a little tour guide who told us the history of the bridge. We walked around and took pictures. We gave him a tip. He was cute. We took pictures and walked along the bridge and saw people carrying things on their heads very high. We had to ask to take pictures with him. It was like there was a gravitational pull. 555 There were a lot of tourists. There were a lot of local products for us to buy as souvenirs. There was a lot of food and restaurants to choose from. As for our morning activity, we gave alms in the morning. There were many shops selling alms for monks to choose from. Then the shops gave us local costumes to wear for free. But we went from Kanchanaburi which was much closer, Came here for Mon Bridge, because the sunset here is very similar to ##U Bein Bridge, Walking across the Mon Bridge, you will find the Mon people from Myanmar. They are all refugees who have gathered here to escape persecution by the Burmese government. Living in Thailand for hundreds of years, So gradually integrated with Thai culture, But their clothes and appearance are still the same as those of Burmese people. In their eyes, they still see the innocence of the Burmese people. #供僧 is a daily activity of Sangkhlaburi. Because I heard that the monks will line up at 6am, Therefore, everyone who was offering food to the monks had to get up at 5:30 in the morning. Arrived at the other side of Mon Bridge at 6 o'clock. I thought the monk would be on time. Unexpectedly, we had to wait until seven o'clock before we saw them slowly walking out.
