The Pan Residence is located 10 meters west of the ancestral hall and was built by Pan Hengcai. The residence faces south and consists of three courtyards. The best-preserved building is the one on the west. Each gate tower has brick carvings and stone carvings, and the door lintel is engraved with regular script brick carvings such as "Tianci Chunxia" and "Fulu Shen Zhi". It's just a one-hour drive from the city center, perfect for a leisurely stroll and fresh air. It's truly Nanjing's hidden paradise.
