In the area of Doi Tung Palace, the first home of Her Majesty the Queen Mother, a house surrounded by the scent of nature as a plant lover would expect. This house attracts people from all directions to visit continuously every day and all year round. It is not because of its grandeur, but because this house is more suitable to be a home for the hearts of those who are passionate about nature. Her Royal Highness Princess Galyani Vadhana recounted in the book “Time is precious,” said Princess Srinagarindra, referring to her naturalism. “Mother has liked flowers and plants for a long time. When I was about 10 years old and lived at Khunying Songwan’s house, I dug up the soil behind the house and planted chili peppers without anyone asking me to do so. When I was living in Hartford with Mrs. Strong, I was given a small plot of land to do gardening. I grew flowers such as cosmos. When I was at Villa Wattana, I had a big garden. I liked gardening myself. When I moved to a flat at Avant-Poste, there were no classes, so I had to garden on the terrace.”
