Lihuangpi Road is a famous internet celebrity street where many people check in and take photos with balloons. There is a market today, Saturday, mainly selling some cultural relics and jewelry works of art. I turned around. Walk to the sign for the August 7th Meeting Site Historical District to its west. It says that this historical and cultural block was formed in the first half of the 20th century and is located within the former British, Russian and French Concessions in Hankou. It is one of the areas in Wuhan that currently best preserves the original concession style. Here, I saw the former site of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China in Wuhan, which is also a building of the Republic of China period. Transportation To get to Wuhan, I took a ✈️ (my first time on a plane 😁, the experience was amazing, the only downside was that the flight was delayed by an hour and a half, which was a bit of a wait) — Our tickets were for a flight early in the morning, costing about 400 RMB per person. The airport staff even mentioned that we got a really good deal 🫢 Returning to Shenzhen was by 🚄 (a 5-hour high-speed train ride, which wasn't too bad, I spent the whole trip editing photos, so the time passed fairly well. Surprisingly, the internet on this high-speed train was quite good, unlike the provincial ones where the internet is terrible) — The train ticket was around 540 RMB Day 1️⃣ 📍Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street—Gude Temple—Li Huangpi Road—Yellow Crane Tower—Zhonghua Road Pier—Jianghan Customs House Museum 💎 After landing in Wuhan at 10 am, we first went to our hotel near Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street. For breakfast, we definitely had to have a bowl of hot dry noodles 🍝, we found a place nearby to eat, and it was quite good without any disappointments 💎 After lunch, we went to Gude Temple 🛕, it was extremely crowded, and it was quite a struggle to take a few photos before leaving. The place isn't very big, and I felt it was just okay 🫣 💎 After leaving Gude Temple, we went to Li Huangpi Road, which is also a popular spot for taking photos, but I feel this place is a bit more photogenic, with a nice atmosphere for photography 💎 We didn't go up the Yellow Crane Tower, instead, we took photos by the popular red wall, from where you can see the Yellow Crane Tower in the distance. We saw it both during the day and when the lights were turned on at night (lights on at 7 pm), and it was pretty nice 👏 While waiting for the lights, we also had some three-fresh tofu skin and local specialty milk tea — Grandpa Doesn't Make Tea (tasty, it's a flavor I can't find in other milk tea shops in Guangdong) 💎 After seeing the Yellow Crane Tower, we went to Zhonghua Road Pier to take the ferry. You can get there by walking or riding a shared bike, just remember that the ferry service ends at 8 pm. This was my second time on the ferry this year, and it felt even nicer, with the sea breeze and the beautiful night view, where you can see the Wuhan Bridge. The surrounding buildings also light up at night, which is very pretty 👏 💎 After getting off the ferry, we arrived at Wuhan Customs House Pier, and just a few steps to the right, you could see many people gathered around. Out of curiosity, we followed them and found out it was the Jianghan Customs House Museum, which also had a great night view and was very photogenic 🗣️ Random thoughts: Wuhan truly deserves to be called a tourist city, with all the places mentioned above being great for photo ops, and there were many photographers around soliciting tourists to take photos, some even offering photo editing services 👍 I've exceeded the word limit by a lot, but you can read about the next two days of my trip to Wuhan in my following note 👉🏻

Watch the weather forecast for two weeks Wuhan, which was windy, rainy and cold, finally had a sunny day. It was already afternoon when we arrived on the first day. I decided to visit the old internet celebrity "Lihuangpi Road" in Wuhan first, the retro old street with red houses in the atmosphere of the Republic of China. There are coffee shops, bars, restaurants and various small art shops. Young people who love taking photos can roam around the streets and alleys under the nearly 100-year-old sycamore trees with the "Bagong House" as the center. I booked the Wyndham Garden Hotel in Wuhan Hankou on the day of arrival. The style is Nordic and simple. The color matching is calm and makes people relax. It is suitable for couples or girlfriends to stay in the high-rise suites. The space is spacious. The intricate viaducts that overlook the bustling city are very interesting and formed my initial impression of Wuhan. Book your afternoon tea in advance After getting off the high-speed train, I went straight to the hotel to check in. Use cakes and refreshments to charge the Hankou Street City Walk program. The hotel is located at Hankou Station, large shopping malls, Wansongyuan Food Street It's basically about 15 minutes by car. Very nice. Wyndham Garden Hotel Wuhan Hankou
