Taking advantage of Singapore's National Day, I went on a small back garden trip. This was my first time to a small island in Indonesia called "Batam Island". It is commonly known as the back garden of Singaporeans. Due to the low prices here, it has become a popular place for light travel🚩. This three-day and two-night stay was at this "Woda villa & spa", which was recommended by my boyfriend's colleague. It is the second recommended accommodation in Batam Island by Trip.com The room type we stayed in this time is (Studio Double Room) The price for two nights is about 500 SGD, about 12,000 TWD. It may be more expensive to order from Singapore, but it is much cheaper to order from Taiwan on Trip.com, about less than $4,000+ per night The room was booked three months ago, and there was still only one room left after three months, which shows how popular this place is🔥 There are also many room types to choose from. The weather was not good when we arrived at the hotel on the first day. It was raining outside and we couldn't swim in the pool. August is also the rainy season. The afternoon thunderstorm lasted for a long time. But it still felt very beautiful, especially at night when the lights were on. But because of the rain, we could only take a bath in the bathtub in the room 🛀 to relieve the mood of wanting to go into the water ('ᢦ') Opposite is a large sports center, and next door is the beach 🏖️ There will be music party activities in the evening. Although the sound will be quite loud, we live in a relatively inner location, so it is not so noisy. It will be quiet after 10 o'clock. We chose buffet for breakfast. Great restaurant, went back here a few times and it was never disappointed. I ate some local fish with cauliflower pure and tacos, both were incredible. Full of flavour and just simply delicious. For a dessert I tried pavlova and crème brûlée- pavlova was ok, Otho g special, but crème brûlée was the best I’ve ever had in my love. Highly recommend stopping by.
