Since Pisa is located between La Spezia and Florence, we first left our luggage at the luggage storage in Pisa and checked into our accommodation in Florence after finishing today's trip. It takes about an hour to get to Pisa by train from La Spezia, and in the blink of an eye you’ll arrive at the ancient city in central Italy. Although Pisa is a small city, it has many places of interest. We headed north from the central station, passing houses of all sizes juxtaposed on the way to Piazza dei Miracoli, their appearances relatively ordinary and the streets relatively quiet. We passed by the Arno River. The Arno River is one of the main rivers in central Italy, crossing the cities of Pisa and Florence. The Arno River acts as a barrier, separating the residential and tourist areas of Pisa. After crossing the Arno River, we began to feel the lively atmosphere, which meant we were getting closer to the Leaning Tower of Pisa! The city's restaurants and shops are concentrated near the Square of Miracles, and along the way you can also see horse-drawn carriages carrying tourists of all sizes. After walking through the busy streets, we finally arrived at the Piazza dei Miracoli and saw the legendary Leaning Tower of Pisa! Even though I have seen the Leaning Tower of Pisa countless times in books, photos and media, I was shocked to see this magnificent building in person (it is even more crooked than I imagined 😲). It is worthy of being one of the Seven Wonders of the World! The other three buildings in the square (the cathedral, the baptistery and the cemetery) have also not been corroded. They all use milky white as the main color and the carvings on the exterior walls are also very delicate. Looking at the Romanesque buildings in Piazza dei Miracoli, how can you not visit Pisa to feel this powerful aura? #celebratewithtrip The leaning tower of Pisa has been on my bucket list for a very long time. Countless times I have read that The Leaning Tower of Pisa is a bore and that is overrated... I have to completely disagree and say the whole area around the tower is beautiful and you will never forget it. I would say to give yourself a few hours- no more than half a day to enjoy the beautiful scenery and soak it all in. The grounds were beautiful, so many happy people,the display of architecture was phenomenal, and of course many opportunities for wonderful pictures. There are decent restaurants nearby and of course they have great views. We just spent a few hours here hence that is why we didn't buy the tickets to climb the tower. It is very brilliant white and extremely ornate. Although there isn't lots of other things to see, I would HIGHLY recommend seeing the tower. It is very impressive, and shouldn't be missed. As others have said, a couple of hours is probably all you need in Pisa, but it is worth the trip!
 Here are some tips i got : 1. I would suggest to purchase tickets in advance, as they can sell out quickly and there are reserved times in which you can visit the tower. 2. There are public restroom, just bring some change to pay. 3. Do not buy souvenirs inside the wall as they are more expensive. One of the wonders of the world. A visit to Italy is incomplete without a detour in Pisa to visit the miraculous tower and a walk through the lanes of Pisa. Pisa, Italy is home to the Leaning Tower of Pisa, a large bell tower of the Roman Catholic Church. It is a marble bell tower with a unique feature: the bell tower is tilted because the soil in that area is soft, causing the bell tower to tilt. It's quite strange. In addition to the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the buildings on both sides of the road to the Leaning Tower of Pisa are also beautiful. If anyone goes to Italy, I recommend visiting this city.

The Leaning Tower of Pisa is an absolute miracle of medieval engineering. It’s distinctive tilt has attracted tourists from all around the world, which included my self. I have always wondered why and how this monument looked like this. According to history, the Tower was a part of the grand project to flaunt both the military victories and grandeur of Pisa. The reason it is tilted was that the presence of soft alluvial soil on one side of the buildings foundations was causing the tower to lean due to its weak, unstable ground. Don’t you worry, the place is safe. I even had great time playing around the tower as if I was holding it from leaning even more. It’s worth every minute of your time. 🥰❤️
