The Kuranda Railway journey from Cairns was a series of dreamlike scenes. The train passed through the lush rainforest, passing by magnificent mountains and beautiful waterfalls, making me feel like I was in a scene from a movie. I was particularly overwhelmed by the power of Barron Falls, and the view from the train window is unforgettable. When we arrived at Kuranda Station, we found ourselves faced with a charming old-fashioned townscape, where we could enjoy art and handmade markets. Lunch at a cafe using local ingredients was also excellent. This trip, which combined nature and culture, was a wonderful and memorable one.

The Kuranda Sightseeing Railway was built 130 years ago. It is an ancient train connecting Kuranda Village and Cairns City. It passes through the Barron Gorge and the Iron Bridge Tunnel. Kuranda Railway takes you around Barrons gorge and through the most beautiful scenery imaginable. Take this tour to enjoy the sky rail going up, the Duck boats that take you through the jungle and finally the railway.
