Infront KSL Avery day convenience store in JB By now, most of us know someone who’s already made a quick trip over to Johor Bahru – heck, that might even be you. Fans of KSL City Mall might’ve spotted a brand new establishment opposite the mall’s Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf entrance. That would be Avery-Day, which made its debut in JB in 2019. Avery-Day is a konbini (Japanese term for convenience store) that specialises in Japanese goods, on top of the basic cup noodles and potato chips. 7-Eleven enthusiasts might be converted to Avery-Day–ists, as this convenience store is an upgrade from your regular convenience store – featuring an alfresco dining deck on its second floor and plenty of photo ops. The entrance of Avery-Day is covered in hues of blue and white, along with concrete steps and beach brollies. Inspired by the white bricks of Santorini in Greece, the convenience store applies a modern touch by including neon signs and fairy lights to its decor. On the first floor, there are shelves upon shelves of snacks like cup noodles, potato chips, biscuits, and even ready-to-eat meals. It’s my second time dining in this Buffet restaurant. It is located in KSL hotel and resort. They serve lunch buffet and dinner buffet for RM40-adults. They have wide variety of food choices from asian to western and mediterranean. The place is huge although the lighting is a bit dim for a cozy ambiance. its's just the opposite of KSL hotel this seafood restaurant is recommended we order a total of 9 dishes we have 2 types of crab butter n salted a 9 cups of drinks our total bills rm603 you do the sum you know we can't find this amount in SG for 9pax . in the morning we went right behind the hotel where you can find many coffee shop this particular coffee shop serving many types of food to choose like youtioao, roti prata the best noodles young tofu mix rice n vegetables dim sum too many n they are all very yummy #food #ksl #seafood

honestly it is just a simple budget hotel don't expect anything too fancy. for the price you pay its reasonable because its relatively clean and there are facilities to use. but it's old and just decently maintained only. the pool is okay quite big I guess. overall its an OK experience..the lifts take forever to go up and down so that's a negative. it takes 10 mins to call the lift
