Baan Chang Cafe: Watch the elephant keepers' lifestyle and enjoy delicious coffee.
When you come to Krabi, your children complain that they want to go to the zoo. You have to tell them that Krabi doesn't have a zoo, but there is an elephant camp that truly loves and cares for elephants. I talked to the owner of this elephant camp and he said that he raises 5 elephants here. Each of them used to work hard, dragging logs. One came from Yala, while others came from the North, the Northeast, and the South. The cost of feeding each elephant is 12,000 baht per elephant, not including the cost of the elephant handler. They eat 3 tons of food per day.
There is no elephant riding here to see the forest or canals because they don't want to cause animal cruelty. You can only feed, touch, and bathe the elephants. And don't miss taking pictures with the elephants.
Admission fee: Adults 50 baht, children 20 baht, young children free.
As for drinks and food, the prices are not expensive. The food is not halal. #SeeElephantsKrabi #KrabiWorthVisiting
