[2025 Date Stay] Travel Guide for Kitayuzawa Mori No Soraniwa (Updated Apr)

Visiting Hokkaido, this time I stayed at the Kitayuzawa Mori no Soraniwa Onsen Hotel. The hotel is located in an excellent location in Date, with convenient transportation that allows you to easily explore popular attractions and dining options. Kitayuzawa Onsen is within walking distance. You can also drive to Showa Jozankei from here. The guest rooms are cozy and comfortable, with an area of about 30 square meters. Each room is thoughtfully equipped with a refrigerator and a flat-screen TV. The bathroom features a combined shower/bathtub and is carefully stocked with complimentary toiletries and a sitz bath. Of course, there's also a telephone, and basic amenities such as a safe and an electric kettle are provided. When staying at an onsen ryokan, remember to fully enjoy the leisure facilities, which include hot springs, an outdoor pool, and an indoor pool. Taking a dip in the hot springs at night before going to bed is the most comfortable. This 4-star accommodation has excellent facilities and the price is not too high, offering good value for money. This is it! As expected! I had heard that Mori no Sora Niwa was good for families with children, but I didn't expect it to be this big, so adults could eat leisurely (lol) First of all, the table where you get the buffet is child-height, and the meals are child-sized. The steam locomotive delivered pudding on the way. There were lots of desserts like cakes, fruits, and soft serve ice cream! There were also lots of rice dishes like potatoes and salmon sushi that children like. Of course, there were things you could give to children in the adult area, but the children's area is 100 times more attractive for children (lol) And there was a play space inside the buffet venue!! My family got a seat right in front of it, so we could eat our meal in peace while watching our children play. The restrooms were also inside the buffet venue, and there was a diaper changing station, which was nice. Also, for those who still can't let their children play, there were picture books and other things that you could borrow! That's what they said! They had a great time at our house (lol) so much so that they said they didn't want to go home. When we left, there was a lady making balloon art! What is this? Inside Mori no Soraniwa Asoboya Part 2! Both kids and adults can have a blast (lol) Mazes in the ball pool! Slides that you can dive into the ball pool... The maze is child-sized (lol) It's hard for adults, but it's just the right height to walk through, so kids can walk through it easily. Adults get caught playing demons right away! Located in Mori no Soraniwa This is the first introduction to Asoboya! It was so much fun that we split into two groups (lol) Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, there are rules such as wearing masks, so we followed the rules, including inside the building, and had fun playing to the fullest. Everything is child-sized, with playhouses and blocks in the small house, and a fun swing that sways back and forth in the elevator hall, although it doesn't move. Cars that children can move by pedaling or turning the handle Yogibo and a picture book corner, and magnets that stick together. We were so excited to play here and there! The reason for the excitement continues in part 2...it can be used for day trips...I think I'll take them there again. If you are staying overnight, you can play for one night and two days with the entrance fee! As soon as you enter Mori no Soraniwa, there are a lot of different sofas!! This alone is fun😊 There are many sofas that are tall enough for even children to sit on by themselves, so they sat on various sofas with grins on their faces. Of course, if there are people, we make sure to secure a space, but we planned to arrive quite early and go to Asoboya, so there were no people there (lol) And in the lobby, there was welcome soft serve ice cream and candy, so we were treated to everything❤️ The kids are sure to have a blast. I stayed in the ladies' room at Mori no Soraniwa!!! It seems that men can stay with women, but there are some special perks that women will be happy to enjoy. The amenities were a bit luxurious (^・^) Of course, since it's Soraniwa, children are welcome. The fluffy bed and stylish sofa were great. It was a room with a space that girls love. And since it's located in a hot spring area called Kitayuzawa, the large bath is a hot spring. #hotspring

We were all full from the morning, and we ate so much that we didn't even eat lunch. Of course, while the kids were playing 😊 Tanuki vs. Fox (lol) I... I asked for fox to be added to my cold tanuki. It's a selfish request because it's a buffet, but they kindly accepted and asked me if I wanted just one fox, but I stuck with one (lol) because I wanted to eat a lot of other things. My husband and I took a lot of things and I was interested, but we didn't take them - the good thing about buffets is that you can have a bite. They also made a seafood bowl and ochazuke... and shared it with my husband (lol) There was also a space for children and fries ❤️ in the morning, so they ate a lot!
