🌟Highlights: Jojakko-ji Temple is located on the hillside of Ogura Mountain, about a 20-minute walk from the station. The temple is built on the mountain, small and exquisite, presenting a Japanese aesthetic style.
It is also a Buddhist temple under the Nichiren sect in Sagano, Kyoto. It was a private villa before it was converted into a Buddhist temple in the late 16th century, which has profound meaning.
There are nearly 200 maple trees planted in the small temple. In autumn, it presents an autumn picture of red, orange, yellow and green. No wonder it attracts so many tourists to visit.
📌Game Tips:
✅There are many pagodas in Changjiguang Temple. The pagodas against the backdrop of maple leaves present a beautiful autumn picture. No matter how you take pictures, they will look good. It is recommended to come once during the day and once at night.
✅The temple contains an observation deck, which requires climbing, but the slope is not high and can be easily managed by novice hikers. The scenery at the top of the mountain is amazing, and you can even see Kyoto Tower.
✅After passing through Jojakko-ji Temple, you can see the bamboo forest that appeared in "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon". The private mansion that appeared in "Detective Conan: Crimson Love Letter" is also here.
✅There is also a "cat ticket seller" at the entrance of Jojakko-ji Temple. The black kitten is quite friendly. It can be touched casually and will not attack people, no wonder it is loved by so many tourists.
✅Attention to those who like taking photos! Because there will be other light bodies blocking the view in the distance from Jojiko-ji Temple, there will be no sunlight even if you come in the afternoon. You can still take great photos if you come here an hour and a half before sunset!
