This is a new restaurant along the way towards Z Hotel and I also see that they are having promotions. I managed to order my favourite dish too and it was hot and delicious. They also have many other items too. This newly open restaurant is just a few doors away from the famous curry fish head restaurant. The Mala Little Bit Spicy Fried Chicken Bagel was an absolute treat. The fried chicken was crispy, juicy, and coated in a perfect amount of mala sauce. The spicy kick had just the right balance—enough to satisfy our craving for something bold and flavorful but not overwhelming. It was a great choice for anyone who enjoys a bit of heat in their meal. Then came the Taro Gao Sweet Bagel, which was a whole new experience. The bagel was open-faced, generously spread with a smooth taro cream that wasn’t overly sweet. On top of that, there was a whole piece of nian gao, which added a chewy texture that paired so well with the creamy taro. We loved how the sweetness of the taro was balanced by the nian gao, making every bite comforting and satisfying. It was definitely a unique twist on a sweet bagel that we’ll be going back for. Aside from these two, the menu is filled with even more creative bagel options, and we’re already looking forward to trying more. Repeat stay. Fast check-in, friendly counter staff. Room felt cozy, though a little small. Also not noisy although close to the checkpoint. The fresh paint smell was a tad too heavy though. Really close to JB City Square Mall. Plenty of eating places around.

They offer simple dishes like curry udon, curry rice, sandos, and Japanese-style brewed coffee. We tried their purin and iced latte. While the coffee was a bit light, I really liked their purin; it's not overly sweet, and you can taste the egg in the pudding. What we loved most was the atmosphere, which is similar to the Showa-era-style kissaten that you often find in Japan. Their roasts are popular and side dishes like vegetables and other cooked food dishes are also available. The Roasted Duck is juicy and fragrant. it has a variety of herbal sauces available to go with the duck. TheChar Siew and Roasted Pork is good too. However, though the duck meat is tender and juicy, don't expect the skin of the duck to be crispy like Dian Xiao Er. General opinion around the table is that Fian Xiao Er took the herbal.roasted duck concept and did better. 📍Tom & Danny's Cafe Nestled away from the busy touristy streets at 67A & 67B, Jalan Ibrahim in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, Tom & Danny's Cafe is a hidden gem near the border between Malaysia and Singapore. Stepping into this quiet eco botanic cafe was like finding an oasis amidst the heat and bustling streets. The interior decor of the Cafe was absolutely phenomenal. It provided a much-needed escape, offering a cool and serene ambiance. The attention to detail in the design created a cozy and inviting atmosphere, making it the perfect spot for a refreshing rest. One of the highlights of the cafe was their unique and intriguing signature drinks. Although we had already had coffee earlier, we couldn't resist trying their iced chocolate, matcha, and earl grey cake. Tom & Danny's Cafe spans across two stories, and what caught my attention was the massive surrounding window. It allowed us to enjoy our food while feeling connected to the outside world.
