Basic information
- Tickets: Free.
- Opening hours: The park is open from 06:30 to 21:00. Hong'en Pavilion is closed after 21:30 in summer and even earlier in winter.
- Lighting time: 20:00 in summer and 19:30 in winter.
Transportation
- East Gate 1: Take bus 601/631/847 to "Hong'en Temple Park Station". After entering the park from this gate, walk along the main road for about 10 minutes to reach Hong'en Pavilion. The road is mostly flat.
- South Gate 3: Take bus 3606 to "Hong'en Temple Park South Gate". This gate is close to Jiangbei Library, but the road in the park is mostly stairs. The distance is short but tiring.
- West Gate 4: Take subway line 5 to "Dashiba" station, exit 3A, and walk about 800 meters. Or take bus 113/139 to "Sujiayuan". However, it is not recommended to enter the park from this gate in the evening, as the road is uphill and full of stairs, and the bamboo forest is dense.
- East Gate 2: Take bus 601/631/847 to "Hong'en Temple Park Back Gate Station". This gate is close to Hong'en Pavilion, but the road is mostly stairs and gravel paths, with no scenic views.
Tour routes
- Family leisure tour: Enter from East Gate 1, go to the children's play area first, let the children play, then go to Baihua Valley to enjoy the flowers, and finally go to Hong'en Pavilion, have a picnic and rest on the surrounding lawn.
- Photography tour: Enter from East Gate 1 in the evening, take portraits on the main road of the park at sunset, climb to the top of Hong'en Pavilion, take photos of the city night view and Hongyan Village Bridge, and then exit the park from West Gate 4.
- Cultural experience tour: Enter from South Gate 3, visit Jiangbei Library, then visit Bayu Square in the park to experience Chongqing folk culture, and then go to Hong'en Pavilion to learn about gratitude culture.

- Hong'en Pavilion: The landmark building of the park, about 46 meters high, with seven floors, is a good place to overlook the park and city scenery.
