It's very quiet, the air is particularly good, and just walking along the road is very pleasant and relaxing. Along the way, there is Tiger Run Park, the environment is very nice. If you go straight inside, you can basically see elderly people collecting spring water with buckets. You can bring a bottle to fill it up for free, but be sure not to drink it directly. Last summer was too hot, and I drank it directly once, and I had a mysterious cough for several months. The park has pavilions, and the view from the top of the mountain is very good. From the top, you can go down along the way, and it connects to Manjuelong and other places. Hangzhou Zoo now has giant pandas. Be sure to go early in the morning because pandas sleep a lot. If you go late, you can basically only see them sleeping. On the right side of the zoo entrance, there are dolphin shows and acrobatic performances. #zoofun The Hangzhou Zoo is on International standard, in terms of Infrastructure, and a large variety of Animals. Tickets are extremely affordable (￥20.00 CNY per person). Visitors do have to provide identification "passport" when purchasing tickets. This, as it's a requirement, for all visitors whom want to access the Panda section. The animal enclosures are large and true scale replicas of their nature habitats. All Animals are in excellent condition, and the facilities are well kept. We absolutely enjoyed our visit to the Hangzhou Zoo.

It's very accessible friendly and small enough for kids to run around. Hotels - as this is in the west lake scenic area, there are many hotels to choose from. Food & Restaurants - the zoo has some small snack places and cafes but they were closed because of the virus when I visited. Hangzhou Zoo is located in the south of West Lake. It is one of the seven largest zoos in China and a 4A-level tourist attraction. It only takes about 15 minutes for us to take a taxi from Xihu District. There are many exhibition halls in the park, where you can see rare birds, parrots🦜, alpacas, kangaroos🦘, elephants🐘, giraffes🦒, rare monkeys and pandas🐼. There are also Lion Mountain, Monkey Mountain, Bird Lake, etc. In addition, the park has mountain trails, pavilions, maple trees and bamboo forests, and it is very comfortable to walk in the park. Of course, it is best to come on weekdays or days other than Chinese holidays to avoid being too crowded. In addition to the many animals you can see in the zoo, the most special thing is that you can enjoy the Chinese acrobatic performances. We watched a wonderful hat show, cartilage stunts and magic shows. The performance will last for one hour, and each session will last for half an hour.
