The drive took about 1.5 hours, and it was very convenient to get to and from downtown Tengchong. 🗺 Gaoligong Mountain Hiking Route Most people take the Baihualing route, but it was too short for us, so my Lisu guide and I decided to take another less popular route, which was about 7 km and took about 5 hours. 🌳 Immersed in the Primeval Forest Hiking is all about challenging yourself. It was a perfect hiking trip. 💡 Hiking Tips Weather and Clothing: The temperature difference between day and night is quite large on Gaoligong Mountain, so I recommend wearing a windbreaker and hiking shoes. I wore a Populus euphratica windbreaker, which is waterproof and warm, and I didn't feel cold even when hiking in the evening. The fleece lining is very warm. ⚠️ Essentials: Bring dry food for lunch and two bottles of water. Trekking poles and a hat are also necessary. 👉 It is said that there are more than a dozen hiking routes on Gaoligong Mountain.
