This is a fantastic budget hostel in Vang Vieng for anyone looking to save money. Faraway Suites is made out more like a hotel than a hostel, with better facilities. As a result, the pool is the only common area. This place is nice if you are already traveling with people, yet if you are seeking to meet friends I would definitely go for one of the other possibilities. #OverseasTravel One of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. Our room was comfortable and kept very clean. The restaurant downstairs had amazing food and drinks and the staff were very helpful with laundry, day trip planning and everything else. The pool was lovely and the whole place was lovely and relaxing. A lovely and convenient hotel with helpful staff. The rooms are simple but have everything you need for basic needs and they are happy to help you book tours or anything else you need. We loved this place! The reviews are accurate. The beds are the most comfortable we have stayed in in any Asian country and have been travelling for 8 months. They are soft. The only downside we encountered was the roosters starting at 3am and it was a bit too loud for my taste but overall this is a great place close to everything. Plus the added bonus when we were there was they had a puppy which was adorable. They have a huge menu for food which is basic but will do the trick. Overall we highly recommend this. A lovely hotel in the heart of Vang Vieng. Motorbike rentals, activity bookings or tips for the area are all provided. Great host and view from room (book with mountain view!) Excellent!
