[2025 Shijiazhuang Stay] Travel Guide for Fairfield by Marriott Shijiazhuang High-Tech Zone (Updated May)

I recently went to Shijiazhuang on a business trip and discovered an amazing hotel – Fairfield by Marriott Shijiazhuang Hi-Tech Zone. I have to share it with everyone! 🎉 Location: The hotel's location is absolutely perfect 😍! It's located at No. 1, Sub 155, Changjiang Avenue, Yuhua District, right next to the Torch Square subway station, making it super convenient to get around 🚇. Whether you're heading to the city center for business or exploring the surrounding area, it's all easily accessible. Plus, it's only 1.18 km from Shijiazhuang East Railway Station, so a quick taxi ride will get you there 🚖. There's also the MixC shopping mall nearby, making it easy to satisfy your dining and shopping needs 😜. 🛏 Rooms: The first impression upon entering the room is that it's spacious and bright. The room has large floor-to-ceiling windows with excellent views, allowing plenty of sunlight to flood in. Sunbathing by the window in winter is simply too comfortable 😌. The bed is exceptionally comfortable, with a cozy mattress and waffle-textured, skin-friendly cotton bedding that ensures a restful night's sleep 😴. The room also has a separate work area with fast Internet, which is a real plus for someone like me who needs to work while traveling 💻. 🍽 Dining: Breakfast is served on the 38th floor, offering a panoramic view of the entire Hi-Tech Zone while you eat, making for an incredibly pleasant experience 😃. The breakfast selection is extensive, with Chinese, Western, and local specialties, all of which are delicious 😋. I especially enjoyed the local-style noodles, which were very authentic 👍. Additionally, the hotel has a 24/7 Fairfield shop offering a variety of snacks and drinks, perfect for grabbing a quick meal on the go. 💁 Service: The hotel's service is truly exceptional 👏. The housekeeping staff keeps everything clean and tidy, ensuring the rooms are cleaned promptly every day. There's also a robot delivery service, adding a touch of technology 🤖. The hotel also provides various thoughtful services based on guests' needs. For example, to accommodate the marathon, breakfast was specially opened early at 5:30 am, without compromising on quality. Check-out was also extended to 3pm free of charge, which is incredibly considerate 💕. 🏋 Facilities: The hotel's facilities are also comprehensive. There's a gym and a laundry room, which are very convenient for long-term stays. The gym is open 24 hours and equipped with advanced equipment, allowing me to stay in shape while on business trips 💪. The hotel also has an underground parking lot with free parking. Just register your license plate at the front desk when you enter the hotel, and it's all very convenient 🚗. Fairfield by Marriott Shijiazhuang Hi-Tech Zone is truly a hotel with an excellent price-performance ratio, perfect for business travelers 🤩. Guest Rooms We stayed in an executive twin room on the 37th floor. As the tallest building in the surrounding area, the high-rise view is excellent. The hotel not only provides the usual welcome fruits, but also strictly implements the three-choice-one policy. It also provides breakfast and Trip Coins, which is very thoughtful. Although room prices may be higher due to the May Day holiday, they are still within an acceptable range. The room decoration is in typical Wanfeng style. Although the uniform paintings and wallpapers lack personality, they are simple and comfortable. It is worth mentioning that in addition to the universal nirvae hand soap, shampoo and shower gel, the hotel also provides an additional brand of hand cream and conditioner, which is a very thoughtful detail. In addition, the minibar is completely free and restocked daily, which is particularly conscientious compared to many luxury hotels that provide free services after the first round but do not restock them later. Dining & Facilities The restaurant is located on the top floor of the 38th floor. The breakfast is of the same standard as Fairfield Inn. There are many people during holidays. Although the characteristic Anhui Ban Mian only has the common thin round noodles paired with the soup and sauce of the ban noodles, it is a bit regrettable that wide noodles are not used, but it also has a unique flavor. There is a mini gym on the same floor as the breakfast room. It is small but sufficient for use. Recently, all new Fairfield by Marriott hotels seem to be equipped with laundry rooms, such as the Fairfield by Marriott in Zhuji that I visited before. You just need to ask the front desk for laundry beads. Other tips The average cost per person is about 420 yuan per night. During the three-day and two-night trip, we visited the very good Hebei Museum and Zhengding Ancient City. Although Zhengding Ancient City is a bit commercialized and easy to cause aesthetic fatigue, several of the towers and temples there are still worth seeing. The Fairfield by Marriott Hi-Tech Zone meets the basic needs of accommodation and embodies the advantages of a chain brand. However, there is also the problem of visual fatigue from the same brand experience. The overly homogeneous design makes it difficult to bring about additional desire for exploration. But in the case of relatively few hotel resources in Shijiazhuang, it is like a bottle of thirst-quenching mineral water. Although it is not a clear spring, it can also bring a comfortable accommodation experience and has a good overall evaluation.

The weather forecast predicts sandstorms in the capital this weekend, but as the saying goes, 'Spring drowsiness, Autumn fatigue, Summer napping'... Too lazy to travel far, so I decided to go with my mom to Guoji Zhuang for a leisurely hotel stay. ^_^ - The first stop: Donkey Enjoy Home besieges Guoji Zhuang - Right Protector - Shijiazhuang Yaluxuan Hotel I stayed here with my parents last spring and had a great time, so we're back again this year. Currently, the welcome gift of 500 points can't be enjoyed together with the complimentary breakfast. The hotel guests generally have good manners. For example, when I was taking photos at the entrance of the charging station, a business gentleman with a laptop bag walked out, saw me with my phone ready to take pictures, and immediately stopped to let me go first, which was touching... I'm here playing and you're on a business trip, yet you give way to me... The adjacent complex has everything you need, but only a little bit, not too much, just a little bit. If there's any downside... it's that this year's room temperature is way too high, I didn't dare to turn on the air conditioning for the elderly, and it was so hot that I was sweating profusely... ^_^ - The second stop: Donkey Enjoy Home besieges Guoji Zhuang - Left Protector - Shijiazhuang High-tech Zone Maple Leaf Hotel After a good night's sleep at Yaluxuan, we went to check out the Maple Leaf Hotel. My review is: utterly sleepy! You could add a 'JW' in front of the hotel's name. ^_^ If there's any downside... it's that the decorative items in the room are not strictly aligned horizontally and vertically, which is a problem for someone with severe OCD who says they can't take pictures, so many areas were only photographed partially :P~ But this is not a problem unique to this hotel, as Donkey Enjoy Home has been expanding wildly in non-first-tier cities over the past two years, and many of their entry-level hotels have this issue. ^_^ Gossip time: At the Maple Leaf restaurant for breakfast, I encountered a greasy uncle (not me, I wasn't having a split personality at the time :P~) who coughed at the food while picking it up, glared at the staff with his nostrils, and walked with his belly out, shaking his head... Based on my years of experience as a spectator - this guy must be a minor leader within the system. :P~ - Epilogue: Donkey Enjoy Home is about to enter the city center Back home, I opened the APP to check my hotel night points and suddenly discovered: Shijiazhuang City Center Four Points by Sheraton Hotel - Coming Soon - June 2024... Great, in the future, I won't have to stay in the suburbs when visiting Guoji Zhuang... o(╥﹏╥)o~
