Da Nang Mikazuki Hotel, great value for money, delicious food
Although it is a bit far from downtown Da Nang
(it takes about 220,000 VND using Grab, 30-40 minutes)
I chose Mikazuki Da Nang Hotel, which is a safe place to enjoy my first overseas trip with my child, as it has an indoor/outdoor water park, hot springs, an infinity pool, a jacuzzi, and a jacuzzi in the guest room.
I was a little worried after reading many reviews,
but the rooms were spacious and comfortable, so it was a hotel where a family of three could stay comfortably for 2 nights and 3 days.
My child absolutely hates vegetables, various seasonings, and spicy food, so it was not easy to pack food, but compared to a 5-star hotel, the spacious rooms were good, and there were various foods at a good price, so it was very good to stay with my child.
The breakfast menu was not as diverse as I expected, but the rice noodles, japchae, porridge, udon, and egg dishes were all delicious and easy for children to eat.
There are snack stands and a food court in the water park. The snacks sold are sausages (slightly spiced with Vietnamese spices), fried dumplings, cheese sticks that are good for kids, and sweet potato sticks (not French fries) that were very tasty. Above all, the egg banh mi was so cheap and delicious that I wanted to buy it again. I could enjoy various menus instead of meals for 430,000 VND including drinks.
There is also a chain store selling Japanese drinks in the hot springs in the water park, so it would be good to go there when I want to eat horse mackerel and ice cream.
The room service was also reasonable compared to the price of a meal at a 5-star hotel, and there were many delicious menus. The reviews for the pork ribs were very good, and they were really soft and tasty. The spicy chicken dish was sold out, so I couldn't eat it, but the fried rice was also tasty. There were many options for each menu, which were about 200,000-300,000 VND, so it was nice to be able to use the room service when I was tired with my child.
For dinner, I had shabu-shabu/sukiyaki with seafood at Karan on the 3rd floor of the hotel. We ordered a menu that included seafood, so it was about 600,000 dong for adults and 500,000 dong for children, which is about 1.7 million dong, but you can enjoy unlimited shabu starting from 500,000 dong for dinner.
There are basic unlimited vegetables, side dishes, drinks, desserts, etc., and there was a lot of meat (chicken is provided once) and seafood, so we ended up leaving some. Maybe because we didn't eat the more expensive wagyu menu, the pork was softer and tastier than the beef. The sukiyaki soy sauce seasoning that we ate as a base almost felt like shabu-shabu, but the child ate it well, and the adults ate the spicy soup with kimchi, which was spicy and sweet and delicious. The chicken dumplings that you put in yourself were also very tasty, but it was difficult for the child to eat because it had whole peppercorns. The tofu, various seasonings, and ramen noodles at the buffet were so delicious that we ate them several times.
I went to Nami Beach Club briefly at night, but it rained, so I couldn't order the menu, but considering the prices in Korea, it wasn't too expensive, so it was nice to enjoy the good atmosphere.
Compared to Vietnamese and seafood restaurants in the city, the prices are obviously much higher, but it was great to be able to enjoy a variety of menus and stay comfortably with my child in the hotel.
It is a friendly hotel that anyone who is not averse to Japanese food can use comfortably.
I want to come back again when the weather is nice.
